The final live rating for the finale were .3 demo/1.08mil.

CW's DVR (Live+7) rankings for the week of May 6-12th. "Red Dawn" had an 85% increase in the demo and a 68% increase in viewership. Here's how they ranked:

1.) The Flash: .95 demo; 2.62mil total viewers
    2.) Supergirl: .59 demo; 1.87mil total viewers
3.) Jane the Virgin: .59 demo; 1.31mil total viewers
    4.) The 100: .55 demo; 1.57mil total viewers
    5.) Riverdale: .54 demo; 1.44mil total viewers
6.) Legends of Tomorrow: .46 demo; 1.51mil total viewers
    7.) Charmed: .39 demo; 1.19mil total viewers
    8.) Arrow: .35 demo; 1.16mil total viewers
    9.) iZombie: .33 demo; 0.96mil total viewers
    10.) Dynasty: .17 demo; 0.63mil total viewers
11.) In The Dark: (no demo data); 0.79mil total viewers

Also, in my previous post I forgot The 100 premiered so I wasn't looking for it on the chart. Edited it into the rankings on my post above.

Not too shabby. I'll be interested to see the live +7 because I think the later time will cause some people to record and watch later. I get how the network wants to promote the new show because at this point Supergirl's not ending before Melissa's contract does but I don't like the timeslot change.

Wow, that is much better than what I figured it would get in the new timeslot.

Yeah, I had predicted a .3 going up against the TWD premiere.

Unrounded final ratings for the Arrowverse this week, live+SD

    The Flash: 0.60
    Batwoman: 0.47
    Supergirl: 0.37
    Black Lightning: 0.32

So far this year, those are the top four scripted dramas on broadcast television for male/female viewership split. Flash is 58% male, Supergirl 57%, Batwoman 56%, Black Lightning 50%.

The Flash and Black Lightning are #1 and #2 for scripted broadcast dramas as far as percentage of viewers in the key demo. 48% of Flash viewers and 47% of Black Lightning viewers are 18-49. Supergirl and Batwoman both still seem to be carrying some of the older audience Supergirl picked up from CBS, because they are much lower at 37% and 32% of viewers 18-49 respectively (still good for 7th and 8th among scripted dramas).

This is a key reason why the Arrowverse shows will keep getting renewed. Even if the raw numbers aren't super impressive anymore, the shows still appeal to the hardest demographic to capture with broadcast dramas: men under 50. The people who spend the most money and watch the least television.

Well, Supergirl may go up in male viewers after football season. Not sure about Batwoman

There isn't much room for it to go up in the male demographic. It's not going to pass up Flash; Flash has been the top broadcast drama for male/female split since it debuted.

Where it could improve is with younger viewers. It is still carrying a bunch of older viewers from the CBS days.

Viewership for last night's Supergirl was 0.97. Looks like last night's episode wasn't good as the premiere.

Yep, .97mil and a .3 in the demo. Hopefully it doesn’t drop any more. I believe that’s only the 2nd time it’s dropped below a million in live viewers.

On a better note, the DVR (Live+7) ratings are in for the premiere. It had a 75% increase in the demo and 73% gain in viewership, bringing it to a .65 demo and 2.19mil total viewers.

Until we get past the World Series I would hold off on any judgment of ratings....

Yeah, this timeslot's pretty brutal, as we predicted.

Here's the CW's Live+7 rankings for their premiere episodes:

1.) The Flash: 1.07 demo; 2.92mil total viewers
    2.) Batwoman: .80 demo; 2.85mil total viewers
    3.) Riverdale: .79 demo; 1.99mil total viewers
    4.) Supergirl: .65 demo; 2.19mil total viewers
    5.) Arrow: .64 demo; 1.66mil total viewers
    6.) Supernatural: .62 demo; 1.95mil total viewers
    7.) All-American: .58 demo; 1.54mil total viewers
8.) Nancy Drew: .55 demo; 2.14mil total viewers
    9.) Legacies: .54 demo; 1.46mil total viewers
10.) Black Lightning: .52 demo; 1.43mil total viewers
    11.) Charmed: .40 demo; 1.25mil total viewers
    12.) Dynasty: .18 demo; 0.67mil total viewers

And also in Live+7 ratings, Supergirl's 2nd episode "Stranger Beside Me" saw a strong 113% increase in the demo and 87% increase in viewership, bringing it to a .56 demo and 1.81mil total viewers. That night's Batwoman had a .68 demo and 2.45mil total viewers.

I still don't get why they put Batwoman on at 8 and pushed Supergirl back to 9. I hope they change that next season or move Supergirl to Monday nights

Edited the Live+7 rankings I listed above to include Arrow’s premiere and demo data for Black Lightning and Dynasty.

    Batwoman is the new show.

The truth is, the ratings don't really matter for Supergirl until it's time to renew the contracts of the main casts.

If they're like the Arrow cast, they signed 7 year deals. The show will be renewed until the contracts are up for the purposes of padding episode counts for syndication, streaming, digital sales, physical sales, etc.

Then, when the contracts are up, they'll see how expensive it will be to re-sign the leads and that's when the ratings will determine the show's future (or possibly the leads will walk away no matter what, like Stephen Amell only coming back for a shortened 8th season after his original contract expired).

Supergirl and Flash are on autopilot until they reach that point.

Black Lightning and Legends are lesser performers and will likely be axed in the 70-100 episode range.

Batwoman is the show with the brightest future right now. This season and next season will determine whether Batwoman will end up a 7+ season show with 20+ episodes per season like Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl or a utility player that goes 4-6 shortened seasons like Black Lightning and Legends.

Batwoman just got a full season order. I agree Supergirl's good until Melissa's contract's up. TBH I don't think there's much of a chance she resigns for anything CW pays. She's already done other projects with an eye toward not getting typecast or branded. It's Grant that has a big decision to make in the next six months or so, will he walkaway or take probably the most money of any CW actor. He's at a crossroads in his career does he want to be known as the Flash and make a living doing conventions or while still in his early 30s do other things. If Grant does walk away then I'm 99% sure Supergirl will get a seventh season because the network won't want lose both shows in the same year.

As for tonight it's going to be pretty brutal for live ratings with both football and the World Series. The only bright spot is the WS is tied 2-2 so it's not a potential championship game. I don't care who wins but I was hoping for a sweep which would've ended things yesterday.
