Last night's episode stabilized at 984K.
Ratings for last night’s Supergirl reached its lowest so far with 810K.
Something needs to change with Supergirl such as putting her back on Monday’s at 8pm.
I wonder if both Supergirl’s new suit and Lena Luthor’s dark turn have become turn-offs for the viewers.
It got even worse in final adjustment : still 0.2 in the demo but viewership went down to 783K.
I doubt it is either of those....it is up against the 2nd hour of Sun. Night Football....it is on Sunday night alone will cramp the ratings. They need to move it back to its 7 pm time slot on Monday, that is the only way to truly see how it fairs against the others. Also. the only show that is in the green this season is All American. Everything is down....Ratings for last night’s Supergirl reached its lowest so far with 810K.

Sunday night football is every weekendIs Sunday Night Football on this weekend?
Flash was down to a .4 this week, so they're pretty much all down. In more positive news, as Brierrose pointed out, SG's still been pretty strong in the Live+7 ratings (that 141% gain for 3x04 "In Plain Sight" was fantastic), so people ARE still watching.
Like last year I'm sure there won't be new episodes opposite the Grammy Awards(1/26/2020), the Super Bowl(2/2/2020), or the Oscars(2/9/2020). Yes, it will suck to have only one new episode 1/19/2020 then a long break but that's better than going up against two big award shows and the Super Bowl. But like last year it should also mean a shorter "Spring Break". Because the Oscars moved up their ceremony the Golden Globes did to, the 1/5/2020 date doesn't matter. I don't follow Football but aren't playoff game usually done by 9.As someone on here already pointed out, I have a feeling ratings will improve once SNF ends.
But then you have the NFL Playoffs, the Super Bowl, the Golden Globes, and the Oscars to contend with.
I had no idea so few people were watching Black Lightning.Flash was down to a .4 this week, so they're pretty much all down. Here are the Live+7 rankings for all the CW's 2nd episodes this season:
1.) The Flash: .97 demo; 2.50mil total viewers
2.) Batwoman: .68 demo; 2.45mil total viewers
3.) Supernatural: .58 demo; 1.85mil total viewers
4.) Riverdale: .58 demo; 1.53mil total viewers
5.) Supergirl: .56 demo; 1.81mil total viewers
6.) Legacies: .54 demo; 1.53mil total viewers
7.) Arrow: .51 demo; 1.42mil total viewers
8.) All-American: .49 demo; 1.27mil total viewers
9.) Black Lightning: .40 demo; 1.05mil total viewers
10.) Nancy Drew: .39 demo; 1.53mil total viewers
11.) Charmed: .37 demo; 1.23mil total viewers
12.) Dynasty: .19 demo; 0.65mil total viewers
And here are how the 3rd episodes did:
1.) The Flash: .94 demo; 2.45mil total viewers
2.) Batwoman: .62 demo; 2.12mil total viewers
3.) Riverdale: .58 demo; 1.53mil total viewers
4.) Supernatural: .53 demo; 1.94mil total viewers
5.) Supergirl: .51 demo; 1.70mil total viewers
6.) Legacies: .50 demo; 1.47mil total viewers
7.) Arrow: .50 demo; 1.35mil total viewers
8.) Charmed: .43 demo; 1.32mil total viewers
9.) All-American: .43 demo; 1.20mil total viewers
10.) Nancy Drew: .37 demo; 1.45mil total viewers
11.) Black Lightning: .35 demo; 0.97mil total viewers
12.) Dynasty: .20 demo; 0.63mil total viewers
And of course, while data for the rest of the episode 4's aren't in yet, we know SG climbed back up to a .54 demo / 1.78mil total viewers with "In Plain Sight" (while Batwoman's demo continued to drop to a .59), so in the grand scheme it's really not doing that badly. Certainly not NEARLY badly enough to worry about cancellation any time soon. It will be safe until Melissa's contract is up. If any DC show has anything to worry about, it's Black Lightning. CW barely cancels anything (they canceled NOTHING last season), and if they do, it certainly won't be a show that's in the top half of its overall rankings (where SG remains even in live viewing numbers).
Superman and Lois will do great at least the first year. hopefully crossovers with Supergirl will keep it going.Season to date averages:
The Flash - 0.49
Batwoman - 0.32
Supernatural - 0.30 (ending)
Arrow - 0.28 (ending)
Riverdale - 0.27
Legacies - 0.26
CW Average - 0.25
All American - 0.24
Supergirl - 0.23
Black Lightning - 0.22
Nancy Drew - 0.18
Charmed - 0.17 (Friday)
Dynasty - 0.11 (Friday)
Very disappointing for Supergirl and Black Lightning. Supergirl cannot seem to retain all of Batwoman's audience.
Flash is still absurd. WB will break the bank trying to get Gustin signed to another deal. Superman and Lois is probably expected to do close to Flash numbers.
Arrow is rock solid after all these years. Hopefully that's a good sign that Green Arrow and the Canaries will do okay.
It will be interesting to see how Stargirl does, airing in spring and doing the DCU simulcast thing.
Supergirl is close to the end. It seems unlikely Benoist will sign a new contract so in all likelihood, it's 7 seasons and done for the show. And even if she does sign another deal, it will probably be a year-to-year kind of a thing. It's closer to the end than the beginning for sure. With that in mind, they're not going to sacrifice the well being of other shows to try to help out Supergirl. This is why Supergirl should be moved back to Mondays at 8pm like it used to.
