The perfect blend of Writer and Director.

I just have to remark on how much the girl that plays Selina Kyle on Gotham looks like Michelle Pfeifer :awesome:

Why does it matter what a professional movie watcher/critic thinks ? I'm a regular Joe like the people going crazy about BvS on twitter right now are.

Wouldn't my train of thought align more with their views than with the views of some snobby critics who watch and rate movies for a living?
I think there is a big difference between the reaction of those at an event which encourages hype, and those who are a bit more professional who are looking beyond the hype.

That does not mean they are incorrect, but you see this a lot with movies that both end up being beloved and those that end up being killed. The environment of such premieres encourage the hype.

Young Bruce even wore a Keaton turtleneck in one episode.

Well said. I'm tired of people saying the film is only getting good reactions because they're hyped to be at the premiere. Why the hell should I trust a critic over these people? Make up your own bloody minds, stop letting critics do it for you.

If it is about making up your own mind, why listen to anyone?

Of course you make up your own mind, but this reaction is common. If the reaction is positive from critics, they are great. If not, they are a problem.

The Tomato Watch for MoS was painful, literally painful.

Oh yeah, I remember those dark days very clearly. It started with good reviews and a good twitter hype and when the critics reviews started coming it was a torture.

I never noticed that. Is that really the same house?

Really cool. But I can honestly say I was very excited for The Avengers because I'm just a comic book fan in general.

Yet I have to admit I'm a very big DC fan and it's my choice of comics. Either way I'm enjoying all these movies coming out. My childhood is being brought to life with all this.

Once the Justice League comes I'll be one of the happiest people alive.

Being hyped at a premiere is a factor but I'll trust them more than any or most critics who are just snobbish *****ebags who disect every little thing and looking for Oscar quality stuff or something. Yeah it's their job but I just don't ****ing care that they are paid to give me their opinions and like they should mean worth a damn just because their job title reads"profesional"

I trust movie goers who know or are interested in the genre than people who are forced to watch and review, Being all fancy and ****.

Yes because wanting quality is bad. :funny:

I love how that is a problem. Wanting Oscar quality flicks. This is the exact mindset that lead to so many horrible superhero flicks over the years. The idea that you don't need to try as hard just because it is a superhero film.

You think they hired a Oscar winner to write this because they didn't want something on that level?
