It's a post-capital wakeup scene following the tub scene; so it's already after that given they've slept and Lois has gotten dressed. Clark got up and made eggs while watching the news. Lois contacted the crime lab to get the ball rolling on analyzing the bullet (offscreen), because next we see her in the same outfit she's getting a call from them at the DP where she also sees the Wallace Keefe news. This was all in the movie (except the pictured scene obviously). What did you want to see or feel you missed?

I was making a joke, hence the :cwink:

I would LOVE to see this scene.

I also would have wanted more clark and lois scenes to cement their relationship some more. Maybe we'll see scenes like these that were left on the cutting room floor, in some flashback in JL. I doubt it but I hope so.

He was making a sexy wink.

This is the most charisma I've seen from Cavill in this entire franchise so far.

I don't think it cements their relationship nor do I think their relationship requires cementing. It's just a sweet scene that maybe had a touch of weight added to it because Lois was restless and wanted to get a start on her bullet investigation. As a Clois shipper, I want to see it just because it looks cute; I get why it was cut and agree that it wasn't needed though.

I noticed that and thought that, but given the context of the image and your word "after," any joke you were attempting doesn't make sense.
Ever hear of round two? Or round one aka morning sex?

The context then the joke clearly makes sense. It's a still image, it's irrelevant what actually happens in the film.

Exactly

Sure, I've heard of it, but that isn't what the scene nor the rest of the film implies happened.
Its a joke. Why so serious? It implies everything and nothing because it's a still image. Which is why memes exist. Makes jokes out of a single pic.

The image or pic here is of a fully dressed woman saying goodbye to her sleeping boyfriend. The clothes she wears and the body language all fail to provide proper context for the joke being made. Why not just say, "I'd love to see what happened before" as a joke? But, you know, whatever. I guess you have to take your fun where you can get it.

For a bit a fun myself, how about I provide you with your heart's desire, but in the form of Clois from Smallville:

Take away what you know about the film and look at it as a single image. It could easily be construed that it's a woman back from somewhere about to wake up her sleeping boyfriend. It's irtekavnet if I say after or before, the fact as usual you're taking it way too seriously is quite frankly ridiculous.

If there was ever a joke not to take seriously it's Niven's satirical essay on Superman's sex life. The only things it is good for is making fun of how seriously fanboys take realism in fantasy stories. I don't need to read a piece of satire to learn about how a fictional alien's physiology affects his physical relationship with his fictional love interest. Lois and Superman have been having sex with no ill side effects for several decades now. I think it's time to let Niven's joke go.

I'm not taking it seriously. I'm legitimately trying to figure out how what you said is funny because it makes no sense unless you eliminate all context in which the image takes place.

I'm done defending BvS to people that didnt like it or even come across as not understanding some aspects of it. Ive tried to discuss it the way I and the filmmakers see it and a lot of the answers to questions others are asking are in the film be it visually or are spoken. Its all there.

I love the film. Mainly the Ultimate cut. I dont have problems with the story, characters or final result....which to me is the ultimate cut.
Looks like a lot have problems with Zac Snyder that maybe inflate the the "flaws" some have with the film because of him. Who knows.
I dont have a problem with Zac either. Never have.
I dont have a problem with Batman (which is my all time favorite character) killing in this because I see what they went for and I agree.

I love what I got. My GF loves and understands it like I do too. I love Man of Steel. Its my favorite solo Superman film and Im getting a sequel in the form of a Justice League movie (which Ive been waiting forever for) from a director I like and a film series I love so its a win for me and I really have nothing more to say on BvS.

You hate or dislike BvS then thats fine. Thats your choice but in the end its up to the individual to decide. Don't give me a rotton tomatoes score or critics score to try to prove your point. Tell me from an individual point of view. A fan view, a film view or whatever other personal view and we will discuss it in that way. Other peoples scores dont validate your point. Your words validate your point and only you.

Please do. Your endless and repeated attempts to make lame sex jokes about Lois and Superman is getting very old at this point.

:whatever: don't like it don't ****ing respond and you put me in ignore then take me off it all the time. Honestly you're boring, if it's about Lois you get up in arms everytime. Get a ****ing grip!

And you taking everything super seriously, getting defensive and then typing a long essay about why you make sense and others don't...that's not getting old or tiring? For real? :hehe:

You must be fun at parties! Do you dissect every little thing your friends say like you do here? Friend: "Would you like some rum or gin with that soda?" *misslane goes off for 10 minutes about the fine facts of why gin and soda shouldn't be mixed together and how the question Is rather absurd to her ears*

*Friend just walks away baffled*

I loved it too. It has flaws, yes, but it has so many positives that its one of my favorite comic book movies. My whole family loved it. While I saw it in the theater with friends, my parents saw it at home on TV. Even the theatrical cut they loved.

Anyway, I appreciate and respect that others don't feel the same way, and I enjoy finding others, like yourself, who liked it as I liked it.

How do you view the theatrical release these days? Especially when compared to the version you love more?

Great post again mate, admire your positivity and views overall.

I know that wasn't aimed at me but I haven't watched it since the cinema as I will only ever watch the Ultimate Cut now.

At the time I liked the theatrical (maybe I still would enjoy it) but I said even then there was stuff I wasn't happy with. The Ultimate Cut fixed a lot of the issues of the theatrical cut IMO. For me I'd rate them:

Theatrical Cut: 7-7.5/10
Ultimate Cut: 8.5/10
