I want to see those logos. :csad:

The lack of new Superman film is depressing.

I mean who knows when exactly Superman will make his appearance in JL 20 min in, halfway in, etc.

And also his presence is felt "no one around inspiring as much hope as he used to"

But it's still weird to me the first live action Justice League starts with a dead Superman

Waited years for a Flash movie and I find out they're doing Flashpoint? Seriously...Couldn't be less excited.

So, after watching the new Justice League sneak peak a few times, I'm starting to think Supergirl has made herself known because during Stepenwolfes dialogue about n Kryptonian around as a protector, Bruce can be seen staring at a hologram of footage of some sort which looks like red boots, red cape and bare female shaped leg.

Here is a screencap I took. I couldn't get the forums to post it.

So, I look at Flashpoint being a Cyborg/Flash film. Shazam being a Superman/Shazam film, no Justice League 2, which I felt was really odd, given that I thought for sure the sequel would be about darkseid.

Also I think the person there referring too at the end of the trailer is actually gonna be kilowog.

The T-rex like water thumping is related to someone's foot steps, and this would explain why we haven't heard any GL casting info because I imagine he will be mostly motion cap.

I don't even trust WB announcing films since they just throw things on the wall and see what sticks. Ill get excited when I see the first production pic.

Honestly, I think the writing's on the wall. The character's just not a priority for WB at this point in time. Of course, maybe a filmmaker like Matt Vaughn can come in and change their mind. I wouldn't take that new slate as gospel.

Still, 2020 is now a best-case scenario for a Man of Steel sequel, and that's seven years after the first one. Christoper Nolan completed a trilogy of films during such a time span. I think they've missed their window.

It would've inevitably been a rehash of the tv show.

So glad it's Flashpoint personally. That's something the show can never pull off.

They shouldn't stray far from the source material for that one

That's not really a bad thing. I love Superman more than any other superhero, but I'd rather WB let him wallow than continue to put him in lackluster films that only further ruin his reputation.

Best case scenario: they slowly "rehabilitate" the character by allowing him to co-star in other films, reviving interest in the character and showing the world why he's top dog. Let him be the Hulk to somebody's Thor.

Pretty sure that's Superman's leg.

So I guess Superman lost all his muscle mass while in the coffin. Because that definitely looks like a woman's legs. Look at how much more muscular Cavill's legs are.

Or - and I know this is crazy, but hear me out - that big ass cape is covering the other half of his leg.

EDIT: That was my first impression. Looking at the image again - Wayne is the focus of the shot. The hologram has been practically shoved to the side, so as not to pull focus, which is making the leg look narrower than it actually is.

Maybe. But in the picture that FCfromCOH posted there is a whole leg and part of another seen. Two separate boots are visible. And the boots seem to go higher up the leg. Plus what is with
the weird tiger stripe pattern on what seems to be bare skin? If it were Superman's leg, wouldn't the leg be wearing blue pants instead of parts of the leg being flesh toned? The red is clearly
visible, why not the blue? In a solid blue color instead of flesh and black stripes.

The thing is, there's several red flags that'd lead anyone to be cynical of how Superman's been treated, and yet some fans will act like you're being illogical when you're doing so.

MOS was only made in the first place due to rights issues with the Siegel family. Superman not being a priority for WB is not an invalid idea.

Just the fact they let Superman be on TV and even get beaten up by a girl but refuse to let anyone even say "Batman" on any of the DC TV shows indicates that Superman isn't a jealously guarded property like Batman is.

Which is hilariously misguided because Batman has proven to be a very successful property on television.

That's the image I've been referencing. To me, it's very clearly one leg and one boot.

It's not bare skin. It's the blue of the bodysuit.

I don't know what the stripes are about - likely something to do with the rendering of the holographic image - but nothing about them really scream Supergirl.

Serious question: have you ever seen holograms in movies before? Because they aren't usually completely solid color-wise.

I see two legs and two boots. The top of the boot on the left leg is obviously higher than the top of the boot on the right leg.

I see no blue at all.

I don't see anything that says "no way this could be Supergirl".

Why is the red on the cape and boots a solid red then? Why is there no stripe pattern on the cape and boots?
I have never seen a vivid red and a flesh colored blue in a hologram. Blue has always been been blue, not flesh colored.

I don't want JL 1.5. Sounds like an easy way out to say "Look! Our movie is totally different"

I see two legs and two boots.

I genuinely don't know how.

The top of the boot on the left leg is obviously higher than the top of the boot on the right leg.

It doesn't even look like that when I zoom in.

I see no blue at all.

I don't know what to tell you then.

I don't see anything that says "no way this could be Supergirl".

Why would it be Supergirl instead of Superman? What would be the point of introducing her when it was Superman who died, will be resurrected, and is currently being touted as a symbol of hope for the entire world?

Why is the red on the cape and boots a solid red then?

The blue IS solid. It's just lighter than the red.

Why is there no stripe pattern on the cape and boots?

Why would Supergirl have a stripe pattern on her bare flesh?
