Looks great, the only thing that had me kinda going "hmmm" was them saying that they are pretty much trying to set up JLA.

Just because The Avengers did very well does not mean JLA will, honestly. I think people look at DC's heroes different then Marvel's now. One thing that I never liked about the aspect of the Marvel Stuido films is besides IM1 it felt so forced when they talked about "The Avengers" and just took away from what could be a great stand alone plot. I hope they change their mind about this and think it through more.

I just want MOS trilogy to stand on it's own, give it a great beginning middle and end.

But other then that everything sounds great, gill said the studio is very happy with it, and it will be great to see one of my favorite heroes get their due after so long.

No. Otherwise, WB would demand the live-bloggers and website masters remove the descriptions of the teaser.

No, they may implement stuff later but who knows. MOS was scripted and filmed before they decided this so this one won't have anything I bet.

Which was based on this Alex Ross painting. So in all likelihood WB marketing/Snyder were using this as a reference.

So why is Snyder all of a sudden being so coy about the main villain? I think it's simply a teasing game, as it seems they won't start pimping Zod until the next wave of big news, probably around December. But is it possible that there might be a mystery villain or someone else as the actual main villain? I hope not, I want to see Zod fully realized as he has great potential as a main villain. And Shannon looked badass.

Yeah thats what I think they're just holding off and they'l probably do a promo pic ala TDKR with Bane.

He says they ´´were going back and forth on whether or not Superman should have the red trunks or not`` and that in the end they decided not to because they wanted to go for the more Alien look. He also talks a bit about the other Kryptonian costume designs and such.

Hello everyone! It's nice to meet you all here. Been a Superman fan ever since I was about 4 or 5 years old. I'm a long time reader of the The SuperHeroHype Forums but I finally caved and decided to join the forums! I've seen most of the Superman incarnations. Christopher Reeve and George Reeves are the best IMHO. I tried to get into Smallville, but it wasn't meant to be. Superman Returns ranks as a big disappointment. Definitely looking forward to Man of Steel! Well, that's about all that might be of moderate interest. I look forward to making some new friends and having some great discussions about the greatest Superhero!
