How can you not be excited with all that talent surrounding this movie?This will be the first real modern day superman film.If this movie fails with all that talent on it,superman will be done on the big screen.

After the teaser and the CC trailer I said screw it I'm letting my expectations run rampant. It just looks too damn good not to.

According to the official credits, he did. The WGA is very strict on “production executives” (directors, producers) when it comes to earning a writing credit. Just tossing out a few ideas during a meeting isn’t enough; contribution must be substantial.

Eh.. that's all we've been hearing so far. He may not have helped write the script, but he certainly helped out with the story. This has been common knowledge ever since the movie got greenlit. You must've misunderstood something.

From what I remember didn't Goyer approach Nolan saying he had an idea how he'd tackle Superman and him & Nolan then worked on that story whilst they were at a dead end with the next Batman film?

Not sure just how much input Nolan provided, but it's not Goyer's own doing. Him saying he wrote the script singlehandedly is just BS. He might have written it technically, but the ideas came from multiple sources, even previous scripts its sounds like.

Yeah I've noticed some similarities to past ideas, but I suppose he could have gotten those same as some previous writers did from comic stories etc although some stuff sounds eerily similar to past scripts.

Well, there's definitely inspiration coming from several places. I think I've read that WB might've tried to push past script-ideas into this one, but dont hold it against me.

Wouldn't shock me at all, they're probably saving money that they wasted before on the previous projects. I mean look at the suit its very similar to past designs.

Havent really thought about it, but you're right. You'd think they'd wanna take advantage of the insane amount of money they've spent on previous failed Superman-movies. Not really encouraging.

I just think if you can save why not? they spent alot of money on previous attempts, wasn't in Superman Lives when they'd already built sets etc although I'm sure they found some recycling of those for other projects.

With exception o Costume designs Im seeing nothing in this movie that reminds of the past failed Superman projects.Not that lifting from them wld be a ad thing-I mean heard Superman Flyby has some awesome Lois/Clark scenes

Still not sure that's a good thing...I just hope it's good flick at this point. I learned my lesson from SR and will not get excited by this movie until I see it.

Atlease we know this movie will look good.All Zack Snyder movies look stunning and it will have alot of action unlike that movie call superman returns.
