The domestic #'s are close enough IMO. Oh and please don't go there regarding "reality" Show.
I am going there. It's a reality that domestic box office is more relevant to to a studio's bottom line than overseas box office. If you want to continue to debate the "reality" of it, you'll lose.

I want to see a kick ass Superman film way more than a Trek sequel and I'm willing to bet most of the general movie going public does also.
You're not the general public though? How can you quantify what the general public wants? Dark Knight "wants to see a kick ass Superman film way more than Trek", so everybody in the world does.

I can easily call you a "Trekkie" based on your OPINION that a Trek sequel will be some Box Office Juggernaut that everyother movie should be afraid of.
I've only seen Abrams Trek and Wrath Of Khan. I would say it I'm not a "Trekkie". It sucks for you that you have to put words in my mouth in order to attempt at debating me. I never said that every movie had to be afraid of Trek or that it was a juggernaut. What I actually said is all right there for you to review.

Good thing your not on the debate team.
