I love that GIF. :atp:

A few things that I hope to see released within the next coming months:

1. More...A LOT MORE Stills from the film, which will happen at some point obviously.

2. Super-Bowl TV Spot

3. International and 2nd Theatrical Trailer

4. Website being updated with a few character bios on each main character in the film.

5. A special feature/behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film..at least 12-15 minutes long, released for the film.

6. This doesn't really have to happen before the film is released, but a updated documentary that covers the character's history entirely, like "Look up in the Sky" did back in 2006.

I cannot wait to hear a snippet of Han Zimmer's Superman theme.

still remember watchmen site where snyder had character bio's,character promo videos, and score playing in background

The Watchmen BTS-featurettes were awesome, but something like that for MOS was a wet fanboy dream.

Score-snippets? Maybe. Maybe featured lightly in upcoming tv-spots.

Maybe the marketing-strategy for the TDK-trilogy is something to go by?

a sample of the score for sure...

I was thinking, they are saying this will have some sort of twist ( read that months ago) ok, what if meloni is lex, only he doesn't know it yet. he hates his military life and thinks he is above everyone.. During the course of the film he grows to distrust and hate superman as well. He then discovers ( he already suspected ) that he was adopted and his real family name is luthor, he claims his name and VAST family fortune...it would kinda parallel supermans story.

One discovers who he is and chooses to do good with his power, the other evil.

I'm really nervous for the score... I don't care how successful Zimmer was with his Batman music, Superman's needs to be more melodic by nature.

A huge, sweeping, majestic score that resembles Williams in no way... I seriously want goosebumps.

I'm setting myself up for disappointment, aren't I? :o

I know. the score for me is right up there with the casting and the suit design...hope its done right...
example...everyone can tell you what the theme/scores for star wars, jaws, HP, the first superman sounds like, but can they tell you what the first spiderman, x-men, or even batman begins themes sounded like??? I know I can't, not without looking them up.
I dont want a theme i'll forget in two years time..I guess I may be asking for too much as well. we shall see.

You're really forcing this Meloni thing...

nah, not really. just thinking out loud. I couldnt care less if he is Lex or if Lex is even in it.
It just seems to me that Lex will be in this film, or films, at some point..It would be kinda weird to have him just show up in a sequel without having a mention of him at all beforehand.

It seems like the score will be a bit of "rock".. It sounds a bit odd for me but they are using drums, guitars and basses..

I only hope it to be epic!

Junkie_XL accidentally "leaked" a little glimpse of a scene in one of the photos.. Look

Snyder is using a lot of inclinated camera planes.. Similar to Michael Bay in Transformers.. it is a good style though

WB said they don't do Superbowl spots anymore. Green Lantern didn't get one, The Dark Knight Rises didn't get one...

Given that those films don't make all that money(more than batman) on story but rather visual direction. The style definitely works/sells.

I'm just glad that we have superman in a city doing big things and unlike Thor fans, we won't have to go around pretending that the this(epic) aspect satisfied us.

Amen. TAS was an overrated moneygrab and Dredd the opposite.

AH YES! Well... I was more referring to Transformers making big money and being a steaming pile of crap, but yes, everyone has his/her own example of why what ElDuderino said just isn't true.
Boy, you guys missed the point entirely. Simply being a good movie isn't the only variable in the formula. You can have bad products that make money and good products that don't, of course. But you don't go setting out to make a bad movie if you want to make money. Some products do sell themselves, regardless of quality. And for movies like Dredd, well, no one really gives a crap about Dredd, even if it is a good movie. It's just a terrible idea for a movie from the get go, no matter how good the movie itself is.

Dude... first I agree. Second... I Absolutely Freakn LOVE you Avatar! :ikyn:awesome::don::up::up::D

Green Lantern was a special case, they didn't even get their real ads rolling till they boosted the effects budget and what not(then it was 100 tv ads a day).

Batman was nolan and he's kinda interesting that way.

This, for all intents and purposes is Snyder(believe it or not). And the big american hero not getting a spot during the big american game would be a dumb strange move on the marketing front.

Did watchmen get a spot?
