i expect cavill to be as good as hemsworth who wasn't anything amazing or anything but was solid ,looked like his character and acted like the character

id be very satisfied. christopher reeve did the same and everyone loved it. and hemsworth turned out to be a great thor

Whether 100 critics tell me Cavill is bad or good, i can use my own eyes to figure it out. That being said, the only good performance i have seen from him is in Tudors.

Which Superman is the definitive Superman? There have been many, many different depictions of Superman (in the Comics, on TV, and in movies) and they were all different. Cavill isn't identical to any of them, but that's not a bad thing. How do you not agree that he looks similar enough to play the role?

What makes him look more like Mon-El than Kal-El to you? Which depiction of Mon-El are you referring to, and which depiction of Superman? If you want to make such a fine distinction, you must have some sort of reason.

I think this movie gonna be epic, but you already know the haters going to try and find something to nitpick about.

If henry performance don't be on the same level as shannon, crowe and company, because he is the weakest link in the cast.

If he strikes you as "anything but Superman," why don't you call him Lex Luthor? Or Perry White? You have to agree that he looks, physically, similar to most depictions of Superman. If not, then I'm still waiting to some reason or physical feature that you think disqualifies him from being similar to Superman.

for me when it comes to comic book characters there is no universal look since so many artists have drawn him differently but 1 thing a comic book character has is universal features
