Speaking of a CGI Batman, does anyone remember the rumor that WB would go with a CGI Superman? I don't remember if this was a pre-SR, or post-SR rumor.

Well to be honest they weren't wring cause the flight scenes are mostly CGI from the looks of it

There was a lot more truth to that than you realize, nobody thought they would use a CGI Green Lantern suit either.

I'm sure WB has considered a GREAT many, likely mad things in their attempts to get superhero films off the ground.

Give the CGI actor Kevin Connroy's voice and I am okay with this! :D

Like a Superman that doesn't fly, polar bear guards at the Fortress and Nicolas Cage as Superman :D

Also let us not forget Giant Spiders :oldrazz:

My personal favourite is the S-shield-that-becomes-throwable-daggers thing. I mean... really, what the ****?

But even crazier, things like... A Jack Black Green Lantern film. Anyone else remember that?

If you're talking about a CGI costume, I'm sure it was very much post-. It was from around the time MOS entered pre-production, I think. I also remember the rumor that Justice League Mortal would have been motion captured. That would have been interesting.

Like how Batman won't be played by an actor. Batman will be a CGI creation :p

I think with how fast the tech is advancing, a mo-cap CGI Batman film would really rock and could better capture some of the artistic flair of the comics which is harder to translate to the screen.

Back to MoS... Since some people seem to be counting down to March (myself included), don't be surprised if we don't start getting stuff until Mid-March, at the earliest. I can already see the complaints that will start on Friday and continue every day until we get something new... :oldrazz:

Well, just something like the first trailer to DC Universe Online would kick serious butt imo, and I would love something like that to all those traditionally animated DC-spin-offs they're always making. And I'd like that same maturity to it.

"don't be surprised if we don't start getting stuff until Mid-March, at the earliest."

I'm not expecting anything until late march either.

Or end of April perhaps.

end of April? I was just trying to lower expectations, not crush them... :oldrazz:

I think (or maybe hope) we'll get the next trailer late March/early April. Wouldn't we get some posters around then as well?

Looks like Will Beall has been hired by WB to pen some new scripts of his own choosing, despite them disliking his JL-script and despite Gangster Squad somewhat failing to impress. Where are their heads, you wonder? I do.

So might Beall get another crack at JL?
