i like the tone that Jamie writtes articles
http://www.thinkmcflythink.com/movi...-david-goyer-penning-man-of-steel-sequel.html

other sites a lot of times talk about news that is 100% common sense but they writte it like its some big new news. Jamie always jokes about it. if you read articles on TMT you see that they always make jokes when a studio hires writters for a sequel. like for Tron 3 and Green Lantern 2 and so on.

thanks for the superman podcasts leading to the MOS premiere.

Jamie, Phil, and company do a good job. I've only been on a couple handful of times.

They've had Rob Meyer Burnett (Superman Returns) on there. ComingSoon's Ed Douglas and other such guests.

I'd like to see Nolan/Snyder as producers and Goyer/Geoff Johns crafting the universe.

So far, WB hasn’t had a Whedon or Feige to oversee their “universe.” Ya think that Goyer is stepping into that role - almost by default?
They wanted Nolan. He seemed to reject the idea, especially when they seemingly didn't want to give him the freedom he wanted over his own projects.

Goyer is as good as the talent that is interpreting his ideas.

remember when Jamie asks him if the Nic Cage superman pic is real? we knew that it was real. but there was always this thought that maybe it is fake. when he said that its real i died for 5 minutes. :woot:

Phil's the Mastermind (Genius) of Movie Moan. I'm there for sex appeal.

Jamie writtes, while others just write.

Hey look. Some jerk on this website says Man of Steel 2 is already being written...

hahaha. Yes I do.

Phil's the Mastermind (Genius) of Movie Moan. I'm there for sex appeal.

I think have to think of a new strategy then.

I know. Pure fail.......la la la.

He's atrocious.

Christopher Nolan doesn't seem the least bit intrested in being head of WB/DC's superhero movies.

The only reason he backed Goyer on Superman was because he liked his idea/direction of the character.

I could Goyer in the role but he would need directors/writers with strong visions work with him as I don't think Goyer is that good on his own.

People love or hate or kinda like goyer based on his last project. Dudes like an mma fighter.

imo, he's the one I give credit to when it comes to the solid comic book friendly ideas I see coming out wb/dc lately. He's the obvious choice to pen JLA.

His track record just isn't good. He has the first 2 Blades, Begins and not much else. His was the weak link in with those movies I named.

He has good ideas, but they need to be handled by someone with a deft touch and a strong vision.

I think Nolan would have done it if they had put his name on the lot and let him do his own thing as well.

I fully anticipate a "NU-UH!" rebuttal. From someone. *Shrugs* It is what it is. No skin off my nose.

There are some... crazy rumblings in the Rumor-Mill.

I thought for a little while that Geoff Johns was actually going to have that roll. Then Green Lantern happened.

It's been like an hour, you'll get them.

Really looking forward to hearing more of the crazy rumors.

Honestly guys, thanks for the work you do on that site. You're one of the few movie rumor sites left worth visiting.

Just don't go posting any breakdowns of what changes Amy Adams needs to make to her body to look more like Lois Lane.

Did you read what Nick Jones said about MOS?

- It's a masterpiece of epic dimensions
- Better than The Dark Knight
- He describes it as "When Watchmen meet Avengers"
- The cape is CGI in some scenes and it looks great

Bloody well hope so

I’m sure WB would love for Nolan to take charge of the DC movies. But since that ain’t happening, Goyer might be the next best thing. I dunno. Is there a better candidate?

(Oh, and I’m guessing WB thinks Nolan walks on water; they’d give him anything he wanted. :cwink:)

Who?

It's funny they've posted on MOS FB Fanpage that Nick Jones said MOS was better than The Dark Knight Rises when in actual fact he said it was better than the Dark Knight which makes more sense because the Dark Knight is considered by many to be the greatest Comic Book Movie of all-time. Rises wasn't as well received as its predecessor, it was actually quite mixed.
