That guy tells in a reply that before going to the Oil Rig, the day is rainy and Henry goes to save the people from the fire. Look at these set images:

He's indeed wet
Which could either mean that the guy is telling the truth or that he saw the same set photos and included that detail as part of his lie .
There is simply no way to know, until June, of course .

I don't know where you are getting your info from but that is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! A man flying??? Get real! That'll be the day....

Well, its not very "grounded" :oldrazz:

I don't understand how or why Clark would be unconscious for that long after an explosion.
How is that believable..unless his power level increases as time passes and as he develops into Superman.

What are your thoughts?

I don't really know what his power levels are in this movie. I'd hope it would be a really BIG explosion if it did "knock" him out briefly, but I don't like the idea of an explosion knocking Superman off his feet for even a few minutes. Not even too wild about Zod punching him in the stomach making him cough up blood but they had both be super freaking strong in order for that to happen. I don't want to see a Superman Iron Man or Thor could beat up.

The only way I can wrap my mind round him getting a little floored from the explosion is if he hasn't used his powers in years or something....he's got himself trained to like react a certain way and his brain conditioned. His powers are like muscles that haven't been used in a while. Maybe something like that.

A lot of the other things the guy said are consistent with the other descriptions we've heard so far. I absolutely hate that Jor El might be alive...I don't know why he would be or how. But I'm just going to assume he's a hologram until it's spelled out. I mean why would they show footage of him talking to Clark at Comic Con, where the die hard audience is at, and reveal a massive spoiler like that? CC fans would have been pissed, and Snyder is smart enough to know this. The first picture they revealed of the new suit was evidence of that.

Maybe he's not unconscious. maybe he's just down there to get away from the damn choppers looking for him or to reflect or something.

Well, my erection for this film has definitely gone away with the news of Lois/Clark being the weak part. If true of course.

I know a few fans out there still want to deny Nolan's involvement with the story but Chris is infamously known for his 'cold-fish' writing regarding intimate moments. Sooooo... don't get your hopes up either way. :woot:

I just want to know...........WILL THERE BE POLAR BEARS??!! AND A GIANT SPIDER??!!

You wonder if there is a nod to the Polar Bears while he is in Alaska...

Miyambe's going to be on a podcast I listen to soon:

http://toadhopnetwork.com/live

It's a movie podcast so it shouldn't be too hard to listen through before he comes on. He'll be talking the recent Justice League news he posted. I don't believe it but I'm listening anyway and thought I may as well post it here to let anyone else know.

Nolan, couldn't give us a believable and meaningful death scene for Talia Al Ghul and leaves us with a underdeveloped Selina/Bruce romance. I let him in and he breaks my heart. :waa:

Hey man..I agree with all of your thoughts and opinions on power levels.
I'm not sure why I hear that Superman has to be de powered in this movie for reasons of realism.
I am not inclined to believe that a de powered Superman is any more relatable than a fully powered character.
And if Snyder says Superman is the grand daddy of them all, then why incarnate a character who..as you say..can be bloodied by Thor or Iron Man.
Like you..I would loathe that. So..I really hope that is not the Superman we get.

I don't suppose there are any reviewers out there who have expressed anything about Superman's power levels in MOS. Have you come across any?

I also suppose I can support a character who evolves in power level as he emerges into Superman.

I can accept that. But once the suit is on..I want SUPERMAN..nothing less.

So while Zod choking superman out, he use ice breath on Zod hand and shattered it.How is that possible. No invulnerability. Is Zod weak as hell or what.

That death scene was pretty bad but I let it go because of epic Bane dialogue. :funny:

Honestly, Nolan is one private and stoic dude. I mean, this is a guy who rarely hugs and kisses his wife [Emma] out in public and only manages to chuckle with his kids. His brother on the other hand... :lmao: drops the F-Bomb in almost every sentence and smacks strippers' asses.

I'm guessing he may be weakened because he hasn't been exposed to the sun for a long period of time. Isn't it Alaska that goes through the 30 days of night??? That could be your answer right there...no sun for a month might leave him feeling drained

hmmmmm..........good point.

Everything I've seen and heard about the portrayal of Superman so far in the movie is that it's awesome and he kicks ass and it's the first time he's been done "true justice" on film. "This is Superman" people have said, and that it captures the awesomeness of the Superman of the comics but puts it in movie language. That's been pretty consistent in every "review" or footage description we've heard so far, and I think that's awesome and truly hope that that is the case.`

I don't need a Superman that can sneeze and blow out a solar system but the one with power levels in the current comics would be great. Even as he was portrayed in JLU. Tas/JL season 1 was okay but I felt like they let him get "hurt" too "easily". Used to really bug me as a kid despite how much I loved those shows.

The more I think about it the less I'm sure how that would work, but again, it probably makes sense in the context of the movie if it does happen. We only know bits and pieced from what he said there. And of course people just want to know more (some are even asking the same questions again that he already answered now). But I'm all for that. I think it'd be cool. Combined with the super breath (much more powerful than just a "freeze", even a really big one), and then a super punch. It'd be something.

Miyambe sounds like an ass in this so far. He basically said (when asked about the people who said that the Bale in JL part isn't true) "You'd trust a message board over me? I've got contacts in Hollywood, they've got nothing. They're liars."

EDIT: I feel like an idiot, I thought this was the JL Thread. Whoops. My bad.
