Agreed. And honestly, if TDKR had come after BB, I don't think there would be these mixed feelings. It's just because TDK really really blew people's expectations up.
It was so well recieved critically, and considered so 'intelligent/serious' that when TDKR went back to a more similar tone to BB (especially in terms of allowing for silly comic book movie stuff), SOME people reacted like that was taking a step back in quality...
Whereas people like myself, preffered BB's tone in the first place, and where incredibly happy it brought back more of that sense of fun but on a bigger scale
