I've never seen a film in IMAX before. I'm genuinely really excited about experiancing it on an IMAX screen![]()
If she wants to see true Imax, she needs to buy a ticket for Star Trek.To get technical... after MOS, you still wont have seen true IMAX.![]()
The best experience I've had with 3D is with my brothers home system, Tangled 3D Blu-Ray looks great. Up until then cinema 3D was a gimmick for me, but after seeing it like that I could see it wasn't just a way to add money onto tickets.
As for MoS, I'll be going for the earliest showing I can get tickets for, at the BFI Imax, London if I can. Not sure if that place does 3D showings or not.
That's interesting to hear, especially about Titanic 3D. I saw that with my fiancé at the Paramount lot theater (in other words, a quality theater) and I thought the 3D was absolute crap, which was surprising since Cameron had convinced me that he knew what he was doing.Haven't seen Tangled on 3D-BluRay yet. But I agree. The best 3D experiences I've had are actually in the privacy of my own home. I have a 75 inch Plasma screen, and it's got the most glorious looking picture. I've had some amazing 3D experiences on that one. Titanic 3D being one of them. Looked so mich better then in the theater.
The TDKR Prologue (7 minutes) leaked 4 months before release. Due to the lack of news I wouldn't mind if some MOS footage leaks these days, and I'll surely watch it!

Sure it wasn't some bad projection or something? By most accounts, Titanics conversion to 3D was top-tier (Cameron took over a year to do the job - while some other movies rush the process to a few months to make their release date). That's interesting to hear, especially about Titanic 3D. I hate 3D, I don't mind when a film is in 3D but when they don't give you the 2D option it annoys the hell out of me. You get overcharged for a gimmick that adds nothing to the experience for me. Also is it just me or does anyone else feel when you watch 3D after about 10 minutes you stop noticing the 3D?!
Yeah, it happens to me too, there is always a moment in the final battle when I remember I have the glasses and I start noticing the 3D again.
Only movie I've seen that really 'immersed' me into the scene from start to finish was Avatar.
To show, one more time, that it's not that hard to keep up the interest for a movie..little things, people talk..They're pushing IM3 as an unknown project that needs to be pushed..And for a reboot, WB, it's treating Mos as if it had an "Avengers" movie behind..lol. What was the point of posting that?
There has to be footage for there to leak.
Let's all prepare for some MOS related april-fools!![]()
