Gotta say, I'm thankful to Asim Ahmad for all the entertainment he's provided tonight. Always fun watching a web of lies get mercilessly unraveled. Certainly more fun than waiting on screening reactions that would never come, lol.

Anyways, trying to turn this into some healthier talk, still suprising theres no Total Film scans, but this photo is still pretty cool. With all the talk of how great Cavill looks, and Lois holding up the photo of Clark, I haven't seen much talk on the middle pic with young Clark and Pa Kent.
It seems he's being shown the spaceship he arrived in. They're also wearing the exact same clothes they had on during the trailers 'What was I supposed to do? Just let them die?' scene. Maybe after John's 'Maybe' response, Clark asks why he has these powers if not to help, leading John to finally reveal the ship?

Mr. Ahmad has actually left some of his more notable accomplishments off his resume. I understand that he's a humble fellow, but credit must be given where it's due.

It's all part of it I suppose. I think the build-up is just starting now. I'm seeing posters out now (handcuffs one, nothing new guys) and I'm hearing alot more talk from people who aren't following it on podcasts and stuff. I think the marketing will really ramp up come April with trailer #2 than hit a crescendo in May with TV spots everywhere and bus' and billboards. It's the only way to do it really. And I don't want the movie now. It would ruin the fun. Hasn't this site taught us is the best thing about these movies is the hype and anticipation with fun speculation and debate. I'm going to be so ready for this movie come June.

It should get easier as we get closer. The more 'solid' info or actual substance we get from the film, the more we'll have to get our teeth into. Sure the hype will rise too, but at least by then it'll be for a good reason. But yeah, the road has been extra long for this film. Longer then most.

Reading IMDB´S casting list, it seems that we will get a lot of fighter-aircraft action. F-35s, C17s and A10s......sounds good!

Also a "treath analyst" =), i hope he analyzes the treat/invasion to MAJOR and WORLD´S ENDING. That would make Superman´s entrance so badass!

In some ways, I do feel a "little sense" of pity for the dude, but in the same time, the guy just dug his own hole by doing what he did to begin with.

Honestly, until proven otherwise, it's really up in the air on how "big" the scale is of this film in terms of its action and the scope that they're able to cover within the film.

Personally, I'd like to see a full on invasion in the manner that Birthright and Earth One did in their respective climaxes. I think Superman fans have really been robbed of seeing their favorite hero presented in such big scale situations on live action films.

And in regards to your questions, well that's essentially the million dollar question on a lot of people's minds.

A lot of us have said that we hope that Clark doesn't end up taking the "Earth One" route where he feels like he's "forced' to become Superman as a response to Zod's invasion.

It's one thing to put on the suit and another thing of why a person would put on the suit to begin with.

If he were to put on the suit as a response to Zod's invasion, then we just hope that there are noble heroic traits presented in Clark prior to that where it's obvious that this is someone who doesn't see being a hero as a curse.

Personally, I think Clark will suit up before Zod arrives onto the scene in front of the public's eye. I remember reading on how some cast members commented on how the film deals with how the world would really respond to knowing that someone like Superman was among them.

Now if Superman only debuted AFTER Zod did, it kind of takes away that IT factor that Superman would have had if he was the one to debut first since all attention and focus from the public and governments would be on him.

Yeah I think he definitely will be because there's stuff happening at the air base where he's already Superman and Smallville.

I just hope that they can finally present a Superman Villain where he actually comes off as consistently menacing and frightening, the kind of person that no one would want to run into. It's time to show the world that Superman does have his own gallery of villains that are intimidating and interesting to show on the big screen instead of just the get-rich land scheme version of Lex.
