I figured that was what he meant as well, but you never know...he could still end up playing John Corben who is later turned into Metallo

He actually does have a pretty good voice for Brainiac, but I could see Metallo as well. Either way, the only part I could see him playing is a "villain" role. He's got that creepy look about him.

What theme? Batman Begins and Nolan's Batman in general didn't have a specific theme, but several different "themes" for different "modes" of badassness.
