I actually think him having his account WIPED is a big sign of it being true. I think that if it were fake, then he'd still be able to post other things. Gotta love IMDB, they allow trolls to say nothing but inflammatory and negative things, but erase the accounts of people trying to hype the movie using leaked information to do so.

The trailer description also goes against what CapedWonder reported. And against Snyders claims. Circles around Zod and Faora? Reminds me of Donner/S:TM and Last Son. But anyway I just want this damn trailer to come out, whatever it is! I really have enough of this drought and WB hiding everything and so on and so forth. It's time for a new trailer. Bring it.

Things will change after it's released. By things I mainly mean buzz.

Most curious to see how Zack directs said visuals, he's one of the few directors that can really bring these sorts of things to life in a way that leaves nothing to be desired. That last bit with the windows would def be new to superman cinema.

The fake description's or advance screening reviews always seem light on detail, until they mention some detail or scene we already know about, which is where the fake descriptions finally mention details which could be easily added to what we know.

This description sounds all very original, so either they did have the real trailer to take notes from, or they have one vivid imagination. Not something you could say about some of the fake preview screening reviews.

It has to be next week. That would be less than 2 months until the film comes out. The marketing trail has to start soon. Didn't TDKR trailer #2 come out over 2 months before?

Actually a lot of it is what we know or think we know. Jor-El turning around (Empire still) Zod turning around in what looks like an icy place (Empire still) Faora beating Supes (rumor that came from here) and so on and so forth.

As for fake trailer descriptions and imagination and a lot of work being put into it, check this out, from February of last year:

"Opens with a shot of space. The camera is panning around the planets and zooming through space. There's a voiceover of Jor-El (Russell Crowe) saying, "My son, our world is no longer safe for you." Suddenly, one of the planets explodes and a small ship is seen zooming out of the flames, and the camera pans around it to face it flying away. Shot of Jor-El and Lara placing a young baby into a ship. "We have been hit by an unexpected force." Shot of General Zod leaping off of a low bridge with a sword, about to hit Jor-El who is holding a shield. The bridge has been sliced in half, as the front is smoking red.

New Shot: The spaceship flies quickly past some satellites. The camera pans around to reveal that it is entering Earth's atmosphere (BTW, that deep "bbboooowwww" sound that keeps on being in trailers for action movies is present in this trailer). Shot of scientists looking at scans, seeing an unidentified object entering Earth. Then the ship crashes into the Kent Farm, with dirt flying everywhere. Different shot of lots of trucks driving down a road. Jonathan and Martha Kent race out of their house and look down at the ship. Jonathan mutters, "What is that....?" The ship starts to make noises and show strange languages appearing above it. The Kent's stand back. The roof of the ship slides back and a chair is erected up, with a small child sitting on it.

A voiceover of Martha Kent, as clips appear. "When you were a child Clark, well, the easiest way to put it was that you were special". Shots of Clark lifting the car off the ground for Jonathan to get underneath and fix it, Clark in school spinning a pencil in the air using telekinesis and finally Clark standing in his room with a strained expression, pointing his head upwards. The camera directly faces his feet firmly on the ground, before they rise about an inch. "You could do things that the other kids couldn't." A bus is falling off of a bridge, and a teenage Clark is seen in the window, looking panicked. Shot young Lana Lang looking terrified. Suddenly the bus stops. The camera pans down to the bottom to show Clark floating in mid-air holidng it up. "Which caused friction with the other kids." Clark is being cornered in the school park and beaten. A new shot of an adult Clark wearing a cap and grimy brown jacket standing in an alleyway, he then pulls up his hood and walks away. "You were extraordinary. You could do amazing things. You were a Superman." New shot of Martha talking to adult Clark in the kitchen. "I know all of this. But why? It's been kept from me all my life. I'm about to go out into the world, and I'm not leaving until I know what they are." "Clark, that's the reason you're leaving." Clark walks into the barn and takes his old ship out of a crate. There are a quick-cut shots of him watching videos, reading documents etc and looking worried.

NEW SHOT: Clark dives into the water in an icy area shirtless. He walks into a massive ice hall (Fortress of Solitude). Clark is in an igloo with an old man, warming their hands over a fire. "We don't get much visitors here. Why are you here?" Clark sits back and says, "I have powers. Unimaginable powers. And I don't know what to do with them." A rock music track starts playing. A plane lands on the runway and Clark walks out. New shot of him pulling a blue outfit out of his ship, with the 'S' emblem. The camera zooms in and the shot changes to a man falling out of a vortex and into a building, looking dirty and rugged. It's Zod. Superman is flying in the sky and flies down, using heat vision to attack an unknown flying thing infront of him (Probably Zod but I don't actually know). The Kent's rushing out of their farm and trying to get into the bunker as a massive Tornado sweeps across the land. Superman flying through different buildings and smashing through the windows, holding a strange monster just bigger than Supes. Superman straight falling off of a mountain (aerial view, shot straight down) and then edging forward in the air, before he is fully flying. Clark Kent talking to Lois Lane in the Daily Planet. "So, you're new here. Good luck trying to get anything first, I'm quick with all the hot scoops." There is then a new shot of stacks of papers being thrown into a van with Clark and Lois standing next to it. On the front of the papers, there's an image of Superman flying through the air with the headline, "SUPER-POWERED VIGILANTE HITS THE STREETS OF METROPOLIS; DUBBED "SUPERMAN". Clark walks away back into the Daily Planet saying, "What was that you said yesterday Lois?" Now it's a montage of shots of Superman punching various different crooks and beating them up. Voiceover of Martha Kent: "I can't believe you're back, it's so surreal." "I discovered my purpose in life. My journey is beginning. And it might have led me to my end." The final shot is Superman and General Zod on the streets of Metropolis, battling using heat vision. The beams are meeting in the middle, and flames are flying all around them. The red light in the middle grows brighter and larger, and consumes the whole screen. The Superman emblem appears, with the words "Man of Steel" written across it. Then the words, "Coming Soon"."

I rest my case.

Almost 2 months, 2 weeks and a few days to spare. Same with TDK.

I have to say, I was probably among the loudest of the ´´this is fake`` people when the real trailer description came out last year, 3 days before the trailer itself. I ate crow afterwards and was disappointed by the trailer. I will be the among the loudest yet again because this sounds even less believable but this time I'll gladly eat crow if it would turn out to be true. Because it sounds rather good.

Yeah. Last time I thought the Jonathan Kent "Maybe" line from the last trailer was fake. I was totally wrong too. Ironically, that trailer description was short and to the point. I think the fake trailer descriptions try too hard and come up with all these crazy scenes.

Yeah, I thought the last trailer description was fake because it seemed way too detailed considering the guy had only seen it once. I was happy to be wrong. I'll be happy to be wrong about this one as well.

It sounds similar to that, but it could very well be something different.

I will say this though, that does bring in to question its authenticity. I feel we as just as much reason to believe this as we do to doubt it.

I don't think the 'description' sounds too great. I kinda figured they would follow the Comic-con trailer structure for the first trailer. It was just the 'maybe' line that gave me pause. But I guess it was just the 'out-there' part of it which is what Goyer was going for with the line anyway. It definitely reads very well. I can't have been the only one who got a sinking stomach when the countdown switched over to the youtube and the trailer started out exactly like the description with him floating in the wreckage.

This. I doubted the description for the second trailer with every fiber of my being, but it turned out to be true.

So that being said, I will give this one the benefit of the doubt.

You know what's going to be sad? If the actual trailer is less exciting than the description.

The closer to the trailers release the higher the odds of it being true.

I was one of the ones last time that not only believed in the description but really championed that Jon Kent line.

There does seem to be alot of effort going on in this one, but at the same time it is a snyder film and WB has almost literally sat on everything they could. What ever does end up coming out is probably going to have a crap ton in it.
...unless WB would rather continue to sit on their stock.

Not really. They said the trailer had bits showing his past as well his jobs.

The description, while not saying there's MUCH of it, does say they show his childhood as well as his job in Alaska.

I remember Marvin believing the trailer description last time and supporting the Jonathan Kent line. In fact, I think we might have briefly discussed it last time with me saying I thought it was fake and Marvin saying he thought it was real.

Anyway, this description would be a completely different in tone and approach from how this movie has been presented. That's not a bad thing but it does raise my suspicion.

Yeah. I for one am 100% certain WB will continue to present the film in the tone and approach that they have so far, only with action amped up a bit (and the big name actors more to the forefront), but not too much. This description sounds like total overdrive.
