seriously...i hope they add "The" to the title. "Man of Steel" doesn't sound quite as epic or official as "The Man of Steel"...
Agree. But I've given up hope on that point.seriously...i hope they add "The" to the title. "Man of Steel" doesn't sound quite as epic or official as "The Man of Steel"...
I'm hoping Snyder doesn't go with the new 'depowered Superman' DC approach.
Or Man Of Marshmallow might be more apt![]()
Me too. It bugs me when people throw "the" in front of the title -- especially on otherwise cool manips.I actually kind of prefer 'Man of Steel' on it's own...
I'm a Superman noob, but what significance does the tornado have on him? It's a tornado...and he isn't Superman yet. Does it help him realize his powers or something?
Pretty much. If I remember right in Secret Origins it's when he first learns to fly.

I think it is better with "The" just think about it:
The Man of Steel
The Dark Knight
The Caped Crusader
The Boy Wonder
The Scarlet Speedster
The First Avenger
It just makes it sound so much better.
This could be the event where he realises he wants to help people.
You can refer to him as the man of steel, but Man of Steel bereft of "the" looks better from a motion picture perspective. It definitely works for The Dark Knight though.
Three words: The + Dark + Knight = fine
Three words (again): Man+of+Steel = fine
Four words? The+Man+of+Steel = fail
That's just my opinion though.![]()

I didn't know that Kryptonians needed to develop the ability to want to help people.
