If this ends up happening, then would this validate the earlier rumors of a Justice League film, with no Batman or Superman possibly, because they plan on doing a Worlds Finest team up film?

That would make some sense.

I would love to see a World Finest film with Bale and Cavill as Bats and Supes, respectively!

The only way Bale would go for it, is if Chris Nolan returns as either the Director, Producer or Scriptwriter of the potential Worlds Finest team up film. Bale has said he would be up to play Batman as many times as possible, IF Nolan is involved.

See, with all the others your right, it does sound better, and I can't even imagine titles like 'First Avenger' or 'Dark Knight' having worked on their own.

But it's different with 'Man of Steel'. That works.

When you look at it from a purely asthetic point of view, 'Man of Steel' on it's own will look better on posters. It's almost more symmetrical if you know what I mean.

And to me it just sounds better too.

It's short, simple, powerful.

Sounds like it's postponed more than anything until they get that budget down.

It has spent it's summer time hiding and waiting for everything to surface. Marvel has all the "here's what's coming" factor, duh, We need dc characters to be both Powerful and bashful...
