Ok.
Someone go make a big manip of it so I can make it my new wallpaper.
:yay:

at first I was kinda weary about the new shield, but then I got to thinking how retro it is and yet a modern take...then I fell in love with it!

I enjoy vintage and classic stuff Red Wing Boots, Levis Americana stuff!

no doubt about it...that's some pretty old school yet modern looking stuff right there!

It isn't the Golden Age 'S', the George Reeves 'S', nor the pre-Crisis Earth 2 Superman 'S', although it does draw inspiration from them.
It looks unique enough.
Bold move, not going with the established shield.
I guess they want to place emphasis on this not being the "same old" Superman.
Guess that's why the trunks had to go.:oldrazz:

that's why I like it I guess. It draws inspiration from many of the different eras and creates a unique shield for the new Superman!

It's not really a bold move considering the films have aways had a different shield from the one typically seen on most merchandise.

IMO, this movie runs the risk of being safe, doing yet another origin.

The only thing exciting me is the cast and the fact that they're not just saying "screw pre crisis", but are actually taking cues from Supermans entire history, hence the retro flavored suit we've seen.

indeed. i wonder if this superman begins just did as good as batman begins, will WB give it the sequel...

btw, how is all the superhero movie doing this year?

I hope not. I'm tired of seeing the bad guy die in the first movie...or disappear only to never be seen again. The Joker in both Batman and The Dark Knight were one and done and so was Two-Face...I don't like that

I wonder what the heck happened to Non or his counterpart. . . .

If the legal issues with the heirs and Toberoff don't put a halt to all things Superman, sure.

I also hope they come to an agreement. I would hate to see an incomplete version of Superman after the trial is over.

If MOS is a success, then WB will want to save him. If not............I dread to think :csad:
