Great time to get a trailer out!! especially with the Hunger Games trailer coming Sunday and Star Trek trailer Tuesday.

I've stared too long. I see dead things. Dead faces in the static....

Ah, well, you're probably right. But I was only there for a month and most of the time spent was in London. I'm sure the ones farther out are better though.

Well... it depends what you mean by better :funny: A more eye opening experience of the drinking culture in the UK for sure. Especially the couple of rough pubs I worked in when I was growing up, proper working man's watering holes. I was lucky I was well liked... the amount of bar fights I had to break up on my own was ridiculous, but I never got hurt!

Could be worse. You've all heard about the "hippo in the static" for the TDK viral campaign, right? (Pssst, shameless plug: http://whysoseriousredux.com/investigations/static.htm ;) )

Basically, we stared at that short clip of static at 2am until someone mentioned they saw hippos. The thread then turned into hippo gifs galore :awesome: until the mods got wind and deleted half the thread. :waa:

I hope they'll draw this out until late tonight, then we'll get something interesting from you guys. :hehe:

OMG I see hippos in our video toooooo!!!!!!! :wow:

I think I named the wrong theatre. Joshua Jackson and Patrick Stewart were at the Apollo Theatre - Shaftesbury Avenue / London not the Picadilly one.

Damn, that's a relief. Glad you were never hurt. I've never been in a bar fight. I feel like that's something I need to do before I die.

Just saw oranges and palm trees.

That is cool! Well, about Patrick Stewart at least! :hehe:

Joshua Jackson was pretty cool. After he and Patrick finished the play "A Life in the Theatre" he hung around the crowd for a bit. He asked us where we were from (with my wife/ who was fiance at the time) and I mentioned the USA. When he joked, he sounded like RDJ from IM being sarcastic. "Ah I appreciate you coming all the way down here just to see me." ha ha I still remember it. :) good times

Well breaking up a bar fight when your the barmaid is a bit different than being IN a bar fight. I've never been in a bar fight. I've seen a guy get smashed through a big glass window, another guy have a chair smashed over his back, and more punches and attempts to wrestle than I can count.

Honestly though, the guys are easy. They tend to get out the minute you start yelling 'Hey, take it outside'.

It's the girls that kick off who you have to be really careful with. Cause they don't tend to have much restraint and will just as easily snap at the barmaid as they have the punter.

Don't succumb to the hippos, Don't give in!!!

But they're so... beautiful... :wow:

You should really try some of these stripclubs out here in the 305 then. Barfights are guaranteed.

I'm supposed to be studying for my finals but I just refresh this darn thread! :D
