I can't believe we're actually getting a 3 minute plus trailer. I only seem to remember Titanic and Avatar having trailers that long as well! Incredible. Wuhuuu!

I know, right?!

:hehe:

My buddy said he saw a backwards "C" in there....and I saw it as well. Who do we know that sports a backwards looking "C"??

Even though it's just 30 more seconds than the last one, it will seem like a lot more time! I can't wait. :D

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Fast and Furious 6 both had 3+ minute trailers.

Wow; we've gone through like 2 threads for this place already, pretty soon, we'll be on our third one within this week.

MTV has 3 letters...

Half-Life 3 CONFIRMED!

People thought we had a dry spell in terms of news/marketing over the last few months. You reminded me how rough the last 6 years have been for us Half-Life fans.

So does the countdown end Saturday, Sunday or Monday?

That FB page is saying the countdown as of 20 minutes a go was 252056 meaning 25hrs20minutes56seconds so that it'll end tomorrow at 9PM PST.

We're all under the assumption that those are seconds, which means to figure out the days, it's 252056 / 60 / 60 / 24 = 2.91

...but, that page isn't catching that there's a 25 hour subtraction (according to me, and I could be wrong or deceived) in the javascript, meaning the countdown ends a little less than 2 days from now...or Sunday night, which happens to be the night of the MTV Movie awards.

Ahh right on. I haven't been keeping up with this thread but saw the mention of it ending Monday and then I jump on FB and see them guys saying it's tomorrow so I was a little confused.

Wait...we are getting 2 trailers????!

Anyone see this article from Bleeding Cool.

We’ll announce something in the next several weeks that will hopefully position the DC characters and the movies we’re going to be making.

Ugh. Sounds like WB will be showing off their phase 1 plan similar to Marvel did last week.

Well, I'll see all of you in the next thread or at midnight, whichever comes first :hehe:

Anyway, I hope we get more news tomorrow. I still don't believe a viral marketing campaign has anything to do with investigating the source code of the website. They want us to wait.

I agree. They made it (relatively) easy enough to figure out when the countdown ends, but nothing in that code suggested any hints of how to speed it up. I think it's possible that there's an algorithmic way to get to the audio/video URLs ahead of schedule, but I don't think they expect or want us to.

What if the final video is of this guy:

I'm leaning towards we're getting the trailer at the MTV movie awards...

I dont know. It seems somewhat late to announce trailers shown at the MTV awards but hey who knows, I mean Cavill was just confirmed to present.

It sounds like a new trailer or at least footage during the MTV Awards.

Remember last year they did this for TDKR, and it was a ton of new footage.I really hope this is the case.

I like it being on MTV Awards. Good audience again.

I like it too but what's the point of making a viral campaign if it's going to be released in TV?
