My big question: If this movie really is amazing as it seems, will Snyder actually get the credit he deserves, or will people praise on NolanGod's pedestal and still make slo-mo jokes about Snyder?

It seems like Nolan and Goyer do deserve some credit though. I'm not a Nolanite so I say this in good faith. Snyder will get a huge boost to his career if the movie is as good as it looks.

Both "Superman" and "Man of Steel" are trending on Twitter. Not that it says much, but the trailer has definitely been noticed.

Absolutely means something. Just like it meant something when it wasn't. It's trending all over the galaxy.

The trailer is really great. I liked the little joke at the end (in fact I didn't understand it very well :whatever:). I really love visual effects by the way.
But I'm frustrated because this trailer gives more desire to see the film :csad:

Following him Zack Snyder, director of Superman Man Of Steel turned up with the world premiere of the film’s new trailer which will play before Oblivion starting on Friday. “There’s no competition between superheroes obviously but if there were he would win,” said the unabashed fan of the comic book hero. ” I am sorry to even have to say this now but we shot the movie on film and anamorphic. We wanted to give your cinemas a big giant movie movie.” He also acknowledged producer Christopher Nolan’s help in steering him in the right direction on the film during their first meeting. Nolan and his co-producers Emma Thomas and Chuck Roven were in the audience but oddly not introduced to the crowd. The trailer played well and Nolan seemed pleased with the reaction when I saw him afterwards.

Great action scenes. Loved the interrogation part. Music was a disappointment. Didn´t get me more excited than I already am.

Overall: think Zod will be a hell of a villain, the action scenes will be awesome, the cast performance will be great. Have my doubts about Hans Zimmers´score.

Is it? That's a neat touch.

Regarding Goyer's shady comments in the EW article, should we keep our eyes out for something Oan/Green or something of that nature in the Krypton scenes?

After watching the trailer again,
I love Zimmer's music. If that is the main theme of Sup, i'm totally fine with it.
Is it going to beat Williams and be an iconic score ? Most likely not
BUT, it will be a great score, that will fit in with the concept of the movie.
Overall,
I loved the trailer. I am extremely pleased with it. The 2nd half is balls to the walls crazy. We see enough of the action where an audience member can get excited, but not too much where we get spoiled.
I am glad we finally get shots of Zod. It was long overdue.
I really enjoyed how chronological the trailer was. Krypton, to Earth, to Clark's journey, to becoming Superman, and taking on Zod and his forces.
I think my absolute favorite part of the trailer was not the action, or the visuals. It was interestingly the exchange between Lois and Kal-El in the interrogation room. I loved it, the chemistry between the two is very promising.

Snyder deserves his share of credit too, and I couldn't be happier for him. Zack gets way too much flack. He can be a great director... just as long as somebody else is writing the script.

Nolan and Goyer will get props too.

I wonder why they changed the lighting in the Superman vs Zod fight scene. Oh well I don't mind either or. :)

When someone says the music is disappointing I hear, It's not the Williams score. I'm not saying it's the greatest music of all time but I liked it and thought it fit the look and feel of the film.

I can't figure out if I like the music or not.

Frankly I doubt it. It'd be just like trying to outperform his Star Wars or Indiana Jones themes. People will still be familiar with Williams scores 200 years from now. Not saying Zimmers won't be good but I don't think it'll stick in the public conscious like JW's.

I can't figure out if I like the music or not.

Its because its so generic. It felt like the Avengers music to me... it serves its purpose but its not memorable once it is over.

That sounds nothing like how generic the Avengers music was. Whether it is a part of the score or not, the drums by themselves add a lot more flavor then anything in the Avengers.
