Heres my guess on why Zod is obsessed with finding Kalel

My guess is that Kalel was supposed to be genetically engineered to be Kryptons greatest warrior-One who wld conquer galaxies and destroy worlds in the name of the Krypton.Basically a Galactic Adolf hitler

Jorel refuses this-The idea of turning his son into a Galactic hitler doesnt sit well with him.So he disobeys the councils laws and concieves his son to be free form this horrific destiny.

Zod on the other hand is completely devoted to the creation of this Galactic hitler and sees him as some sort of messiah.Zods main goal in this film is to find Kalel and fix Jorels ''mistake''-by using technology to brainwash Kalel into the Galactic hitler he was born to be so that they together might conquer the cosmos-starting with EARTH.

Anyway, I think you may have something Zionite1. I think the idea of people wanting Kal-El for a different purpose on Krypton seems like a sound idea.

Afraid not. WB Montreal has no games to its credit. It's brand new. Arkham Origins is its first project. Granted, Rocksteady were really green when they made AA, but they were still independent at the time and were only partially bought by WB after AA's smash success. There is no way a new developer like WB Montreal has the experience, strength of character, or clout of someone like Whedon or Black needed to walk such a tight rope. The Whedons/Blacks of the video game industry typically form their own studios like Valve, Irrational Games, etc.

Well, Rocksteady are being consulted from time to time, according to interviews. Also, the handheld version is being developed by Amarture Studios. But yeah, it all depends on experience and how much freedom they have.

I saw it, that's when I looked her up and found out she worked for Marvel. I just didn't feel like I had anything interesting to say about the vid.

I love how Grace said she isn't biased towards MARVEL, but in her argument that's what it sounded like a bit. And even if she truly doesn't prefer one brand over the over, she came off a bit bitter to me in the few reviews of hers i watched. *shrugs*
I don't know why it keeps getting brought up, when it's pretty irrelevant.
