So where did that low-res poster (?) come from?
My only complaint is that his hair is a bit long, maybe the cut it a bit shorter for the sequel. Also sort of pissed about the f35s. The military would use f22s.

Aren't the F-35's phasing in? Or am I thinking ahead of myself?
I don't even get the slightest hint of the Donner vibe which is really funny cause there are some people at the SHH forums who won't even give this film a chance cause its supposedly a rehash of the first two Superman films.

How could be a shortage of warplanes? I find that phrase hilarious!
MOS would have smashed that film into the ground. It looks pretty dull.
AFTER EARTH was just moved up. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=103179
Perhaps getting out of the way of MOS.
), just asking if it would make sense. Or would the lack of a big event movie for 2 whole lull weeks of summer make the anticipation and last week marketing blitz for MoS into a bigger deal.Does anyone get a Donner vibe watching the new trailer ? cause I DON'T.
I grew up with the first 2 Donner films. Hell, I sight seeing Donner's first film when i was 5, as the reason I became fascinated with film.
But to say that this re-interpretation is basically a remake of Superman 1 and 2 just seems to me, to be a unsubstantial argument, and quite honestly, seems to be a over-reaching point of view.
Nolan is helping Synder do exactly what he did with Batman
Where there elements in Nolan's film that were reflective of past incarnations ? Yes, but very few. Could Joker's hit me scene be reminiscent of Jack Nicholson's line in Burton's film ? Yes.
What i am trying to say is, while there may be "familiar" elements of previous incarnations of Superman in Man of Steel, calling MOS a remake of Donner's first two films, is such a fallacy.

I would not say it looked dull. I actually think it looked a bit interesting, compared to M Night's previous few films. I would have waited until DVD to see it though.
SONY moving AFTER EARTH up a week to May 31st.
Did that MOS trailer scare some movie companies ?![]()

I just don't see it. There is vitually no discernible plot from the trailer other than 'they crash, they try not to die'. There appears to only be the two characters - Will Smith and his Son. Even the visuals aren't particularly unique or anything.
I'd say at this point, it looks the least like an M Night movie of anything he's done, but not in a good way... like just less interesting than even his previous movies have been.
I dunno, maybe they are just bad trailers and there actually is a lot more to the film.
