Yes.

Dr Banner is in it.

Just saw the soundtrack listing. If the listings are, in a way, in order of hat happens, then the film will take the Batman Begins approach and show flashbacks while staying in the present. Plus, while not Superman in costume, if this is in order, we will see the oil rig scene and Clark save the day first. Second: the listing confirms what many speculated Zod's plan on Earth would be: terraforming. It doesn't sound like it's Krypton. And finally, What Are You Going To Do When You Are Not Saving The World?, that sounds like the Clark Kent at the Daily Planet scene.

Why would Zod be terraforming earth? And what would he be terraforming it into?

I like that Goyer brought up Wonder Woman.

I would like a good female led Superhero movie in my lifetime. Get to cracking on that Wonder Woman movie WB!

Doubtful it's in order just because of track 15 and the recent Empire article pretty much confirms the flashback route, especially for scenes on Krypton. :yay:

To me its going to be weird seeing Supes flying slow at first...because all we've seen him do is fly at super speeds.

Thankyou! Was just going to say that. There is no way that 'I have so many questions' can come at the end of the film.

Strange to hear goyers answer to batman vs other superhero's when the batman he's put on screen isn't really prep time batman.

That track list sounds promising.

Yes.

I tried not to look at it...I really tried, I just wanted to know if there was a post-credit scene...why would you do this to me???!!! :argh:

But thanx for responding anyways, I won't spoil anything else for myself...just a few more hours!!!

I'm interested in which track is the main theme and/or which one sounds like the score from the trailer.

the track at the end is called "Man of Steel." I'd guess that would be the main theme, but it says from Han's original sketchbook.......????

That goes along with him saying on that composer's forum that he would be including his original demo(s) on the soundtrack. I think it will be the main theme aka trailer music.

Yeah, the tracks on the soundtrack are not in plot order.

Probably meaning it's Hans original demo track he put together.

what do you mean by "demo track?"

you mean it's like a rough draft or not finished?

Yep. It confirms this comment by Hans on that virtual composer's forum that Godfrey and jasvll linked to in the Zimmer thread last week.

I found this follow-up post in the thread by "Zimmer" referring to the piano track in the trailer:

It's my very dodgy one-fingered piano playing on an upright. The track is from my original mock-up demo. And yes, we are releasing the demos this time...

Kind of, like it was Hans first idea that he put together which sometimes can help with ideas for how the score will sound and play around with and experiment. I believe the trailer music was actually a demo that he ended up using.

oh, ok.

I just hope and want one of those tracks to be the "main theme."

guess we'll find out June 11th!

Essentially a demo is a mock-up. It would be ridiculously expensive for Zimmer to have the orchestra play out every draft so to hear if the track is working and to give something to the director for approval, he would essentially mock up the cue playing everything himself, either using a computer app or basic instruments.

thanks.

Zack Snyder talking to the L.A. Times
[Man of Steel's] the most realistic movie I’ve made. There’s no tongue in anyone’s cheek. I’m not apologizing for Superman in any way. I’m saying, ‘Superman is a thing that must be taken seriously and embraced and understood.’”
