This Top Critic listed over at RT gave a negative review for SR, one of his main problems was Clark Kent protecting his secret identity using Glasses.

MOS will have some critics who think similarly and rate it negatively.

What could possibly justify making a Superman movie that runs 154 minutes? Plenty of films last longer, but their characters are generally sharp enough to recognize a guy with or without his glasses.

Man, I really love the art in the children's books.

Just thought you guys (and gals) should know ;)

I see Lex was at it again. Confusing and insulting posts that only amuse him? Checkmate.

I think alot of us saw it and I wrote about it.

I thought it was poorly thoughtout fangirl ramblings myself.

Back from Iron Man 3. No MOS trailer, but we got both the Wolverine trailer (called Wolverine Inmortal here, which made me chuckle) and the friggin Thor trailer, which is weird, because it's really recent.

I liked IM3. I think it's a big victim of movie marketing. Maybe if people saw it with a clean slate expectations-wise like in the olden days, they wouldn't have as many problems with it as they do (those that do).

I guess I'm one of the few that despised the twist. I was able to gut out the rest of the movie but my brother walked out.

I owe him 15 bucks after assuring him that IM3 would be IM2.

There are plenty of people who don't like the twist. I'm not one of em.

Then he missed the film's best sequence (barrel of monkeys).

Man, I've never walked out of a movie. And I had to watch X-men 3 twice... sucks being a good friend...

Finished Birthright. It's such a bittersweet ending. I'm glad his parents got to know he made it, even if they were seconds away to die. It's more like a closure for Clark as well. I wish we had seen the aftermath of how he felt about it, especially learning that he's the last of his race and how desperate his parents were... but alas, that might be too much for a follow up comic book story.

I think that Goyer has included that part (where Jor El can see through space-time and knows that Kal El is well and alive .)

I didn't despise IM 3's twist, but I didn't love it either. I'm glad I read the spoilers before seeing the film, cuz if I had gone in cold and unaware, then I would probably have been really pissed.........lol

also, I guess it didn't really bother me cuz I never really considered the IM 3 Mandarin to be the "true Mandarin," regardless of the twist. To me, the Mandarin should be Asian. It's kind of part of his character. And, as someone who is half-Asian, I was looking forward to an Asian actor playing a lead/iconic role in a blockbuster CB film.

So, I call the Mandarin in IM 3 MINO........Mandarin In Name Only.

but, to bring this back to MOS, after watching IM 3 and Oblivion, which BOTH had twists, I sincerely hope MOS does NOT have some kind of twist in it.

not every story has to have a twist in it to be cool or interesting.

The Birthright ending is definitely popular here. I guess I'm one of the few that found it hokey and unnecessary.

If Snyder/Goyer have included it I wonder how they'll have scripted it. Could there be something in the Fortress or Black Zero that Jor-El has programmed to send a transmission to a fixed point to him and Lara before the planet explodes.

It very could be that scene in TV Spot 2 where Jor-El is looking at his son flying(falling?) above the Earth.

Also seriously I don't get the people that walked out during IM3. C'mon it's not that bad. Just enjoy it for what it is.

You did yourself a favor. IM3 is a waste of time.

Thing is, I saw the film already, in XD (Cinemark's LieMax), and I'm not overly fond of it, but I understand why a lot of people will be pissed. But yes, VERY lazy storytelling imo.

Ok, THAT'S IT for Iron Man 3 discussion, folks. No more Iron Man 3 on my forums. This is MAN OF STEEL territory dammit :argh:

:super:

yeah me too...I had seen the crappy pics that some dude had taken by taking a picture of the book. So I bought the book last night on my phone and took screen grabs. Now all the pics I posted have been making the rounds and no credit is being given to me or the Hype for getting them first but instead all credit is given to CBM...what crap
