If you are brainless get in and out. None of those films had a real plot so they shouldn't have lasted longer than an hour 45min with credits.
Well lets hope MoS doesn't qualify for that.

I agree. If you are going for the brainless action flick thing fine, but leave it 90 minutes TOPS.

I only now just realized that this will be the first superman film that actually shows a period of time when Superman wasn't even born yet. Normally, most incarnations (television series and films) don't bother showing the period before he was born as they only cover the final days of Krypton when he's still in his infancy.

That's interesting indeed... I wonder if that stuff will be flashbacks or if the pre-birth stuff will be actual prologue material.

Like I stated earlier, every Michael Bay film after The Rock were ridiculously long and beyond drawn out. I have a bad feeling TF4 could be in the 160 range.

Pain & Gain was great at 129 minutes. :oldrazz:

don't care about any other movies other than Man of Steel at this point...except maybe Star Trek
That's exactly how I feel. I'm planning on going to see Star Trek this weekend, and that's it till MOS. Then after that I will start to look at what else is coming out this year. Quite honestly, nothing else really matters except for MOS at this point. I just don't see anything else topping it, in my eyes.

Same here.

Hey, if this film/series doesn’t have cellophane S’s, memory kisses, repairing objects by looking at them, spinning Earth backwards (no matter what happens he can just do this)….it’ll be better already in my book.

:lmao:

Poor Thorin. :csad:

See, I had forgotten all about The Desolation of Smaug coming out this year. I just hope it's better than An Unexpected Journey was. I mean, don't get me wrong, I thought it was really good, but nowhere near as epic as the original trilogy, IMO. Anyways, what's this I hear about a new Superman flick coming out this year?

Does anyone know if any of the cast members are scheduled to appear on any major talk shows in order to possibly promote the film as the weeks pass by?

All I know is I'm going to be avoiding that bastard Letterman. :argh:

yeah they better go on leno

jay is a huge superman fan and has already had henry, diane, amy on his show with superman discussions

I believe that Conan O'Brien is a Superman fan too, so I'm sure that one or two of them might wind up on his show. I'm sure they will be on Leno and Jimmy Fallon at the very least.

If I were WB, I'd be sending Henry all over the creation. He's one charming SOB.

You guys wanna read my impression of Letterman?

"Too bad everyone dies at the end... Okay, not everyone. The new girl character dies though. What's her name? Gendy? Also, I'm stupid." :o

Well he's already been to Japan and he was interviewed once or twice and they will be going to Australia to premier the movie in late June (I think it's June) and I'm sure he will be hitting some of the local talk shows there too. I'm sure that he's going to be heavily courted by the British media. So Henry's face is going to be all over the place here in the next couple of weeks.

Leno isn't very funny or interesting but I'll watch him poorly interview an actor I like.

I dig Kimmel, Fallon, Letterman and Conan though.

I can't stand Letterman since he ruined the end of TDKR for me.
