Do you think there will be extra clips/footage after the end credits?

i dont like letterman the man is extremely rude

Crispin Glover. That's all I'm saying. :P

Seriously though he is my least favorite of all the late night hosts. TDKR and Batman 89 he "ruined" haha...I don't begrudge him that though. He just strikes me as sleazier than the rest...and rude. There's no joke in his jest with guests whenever I've watched him, there's spite.

I'm pretty sure that when the running time is announced, it always includes the end credits as that is part of the movie.

Yeah that's right they always add the credits to the run time. They are part of the movie so it makes sense and I think you have to reveal to your audience how long the film is approx at the cinema etc

i love all the range of comics this film is grabbing from

Secret Origins

Leno isn't very funny or interesting but I'll watch him poorly interview an actor I like.

I dig Kimmel, Fallon, Letterman and Conan though.

Lenno stopped being funny a loooong time ago. It's probably why he's decided to retire. :oldrazz:

No Craig Ferguson love around here? :woot:

The Last Airbender was beyond atrocious. I was never a fan of the cartoon as I found it to be boring and a little too childish but the movie makes it look like Batman: The Animated Series.

Lol wut? So cartoons that are childish are bad now?

Nope, MOS looks like a classy film that is trying to be more than just a comic book movie, just like the Nolan Bat-films. Can you really think of any serious film that has done anything like that? You only ever see post-credits sequences in Marvel movies and comedies that don't take themselves seriously.

^That's a pretty condescending way of looking at it. What will you say if they actually do have one that they aren't revealing until the release date.

It's interesting how Jor-Els base suit is much darker that Kal-Els. I wonder what it means? I liked the theory around here that Kal-Els brighter colors are from the Kryptonian pioneers during Krypton's golden age when they were charting the galaxy. And the darker colors represented by Jor-Els time are of their degeneration into engineering babies and have banned space travel and have upset their planets core causing it's destruction. It would be kind of cool that Kal-El in a different way would be representing Krypton's best era that way.

It's condescending but true. Post-credits sequences are gimmicks and fan service. If it really is a good scene that organically fit within the rest of the film, they would include in the film. I don't believe in fan service, I believe in making the best movie you can.

At best, there is a certain post-modern, ironic quality about them and that is completely unfitting for Man of Steel at least the way Snyder describes the film. As he says, it is a sincere, earnest film about a sincere hero. The irony about Superman is that there is no irony. Thus, post-credits scenes don't fit.

Totally agree. I believe I have been saying that for weeks. :woot: They seem to be taking a LOTR approach (2nd Age Elves had gold/green armour to show that their civilization was in its peak/summer, 3rd Age Elves wore fall colours to show their decline) to Kryptonian culture. Also, notice how the Fortress ship appears to be bright silver whereas Kal-El's rocket appears to be a more faded bronze.

Ah so it was from you were I got that! Really good mate! I hope that is what direction they went with. I wonder if we'll get a visual of Krypton in it's golden age and see a much more vibrant colorful depiction like the panels in Birthright for instance.

I wonder if we'll get a scene similar to SII where Zod shows up the Daily Planet looking for Superman. Then he just unleashes on the building:

Maybe we'll even get a 'Care to step outside' moment from Superman like in SII. No doubt this will lead to the scene of Perry and Jenny and everyone exiting the planet in a hurry which we've seen recently.

So, what happened to that extended runtime? First report fake or what?

Whatever the case, I'm cautiously thrilled.

I like some post credits scenes, i think they work well mostly in comedies, I think Marvel has overused them to the point where it kinda ruins the sanctity of the film for me if they keep adding stingers leading up to the next film. That's why I liked the IM3 one so much, it was self contained and made sense within the movie, like all the other best post credits scene.

I don't feel particularly strong about it either way though, if we were to see Lex or Brainiac at the end of the credits it would be cool, I'm just a fan of villains getting introduced in the actual movie itself rather than a little bit of fanservice in the end.

So does anyone even know on where those new pictures of Jor-el and Faora came from?

In England I'm pretty certain Cavill will end up on Jonathan Ross Show at some point in the first 14 days of June whenever the saturdays are. Good audience Jonathan Ross Show as is Alan Carr Chatty Man

Love Jonathan Ross, always get a kick out of his interviews.

Yeah it has the potential to be a really funny interview, and Ross might seriously geek out at interviewing Superman since he is a huge comic book fan (and writer) himself.

I loved the banter he had with Tom Hardy a couple of years ago.

Possible. But since we’ve seen a lot of variation in the color of Supes’ costume, I wouldn’t put too much stock in a single Jor-El image.

Not Jonathan Ross its the last in the series this weekend. Graham Norton's still got a few left though but I don't know about Alan Carr.
