It's Jor El there's no question about that HA... his GARB IS BLUE, look EXACTLY like the ones he wear earlier in the film on Kryptin.
On Kryptin, eh? How's the after life Brando?

Not sure if it's been said, but I think holo Jor El is contained within the command key. Maybe Clark can plug into any Kryptonian ship/tech with it, to let his computer program dad run around. It looks like he's guiding Lois through that ship to me.
strangely enough I gotta agree...it looks like Jor-El
I saw that too. I was wondering if it's more than just having Jor-el in one spot or if he was actually walking around? Not sure if it's been said, but I think holo Jor El is contained within the command key. Definitely Hologram Jor-El...

Yeah wish I had my old comics collection here. I'd like to read that issue of Byrne's Man of Steel where the Jor-El apparation appeared at the Kent farm. I really think Goyer drew alot from that series as well. Things like the Black Zero and stuff are from that.
I'm not sure where, but I remember reading some official guide last year and reading about John Byrne's version of Krypton and it explicitly mentioned the Black Zero as some kind of doomsday device. The Black Zero is in there? Do you mean the 6 issue Man of Steel or somewhere in Byrne's entire run?

Maybe that's what the Key is. The collective knowledge of Jor-El and after it forms, it also runs off the energy of our sun to feed information to Clark as he needs itHere's another thought.
Since bits of Flyby WERE used in MOS (on the amc theatre youtube, John Schnepp admitted to seeing a 90 min pre-vis vid for the film - OF COURSE WB will use that if its available!), what about Superman Lives (Smith/Burton)?
In that version, Superman is assisted by a Kryptonian AI - the Eradicator / K.
Could MOS have a protective AI for Kal-El, using his biological fathers face/memories?
It kinda makes more sense than just a hologram of his dead dad. Who knows?
