VO: He is the super-director behind MOS.Zack Snyder!!
Host: People are watching this stream all around the world-for you.
Zack Snyder- (affably and bashfully) It's crazy.
Host: I saw this film yesterday, and wasn't allowed to talk about it, it was really frustrating.
BUT I LOVED IT!!!!!
Zack Snyder: Awesome.
Host: There's a lot of pressure to resurrect Superman on the big screen. [No duh]
Zack Snyder: Well, I think that Superman-I'm a bit of a fan, so-an opportunity for me to direct is kind of a dream come true.
I was VERY excited, a little pressure, but REALLY fun.
Host: And we know and love your cinematic style ESPECIALLY for this big and epic fight scenes in films like 300, and the one you're working on, and Watchmen.
So you handled this in a VERY poetic way, almost like ballet, it was beautifully choregraphed. Great fight scenes.
So what was the challenge in finding the Superman IN Henry Cavill, he has the substance, and beauty of this.
ZS: Uh.. We did tests in the normal way, using a lot of different actors, but when we got Henry, he was what we wanted.
We put him in the old Christopher Reeve suit, SPANDEX-and NOBODY looks good in spandex. NOBODY-Maybe a couple of people, but HE puts on the suit, and instead of dressup UP LIKE Superman, he IS Superman.
That's the difference.
Host: You shot a lot of this in Vancouver?
ZS: Yes, Vancouver, plus some of the stuff in the Arctic, and the fishing boat, most of these parts aren't outside of Vancouver.
Host: We know what Chris Nolan did to the Batman franchise, and comparisons are inevitable, do you think fans should be comparing what you're doing TO the new Batman franchise. [That question is cringeworthy, do you'd think he'd say in sarcasm-mode: "Yes, our story's so grounded that he needs a suit to fly."
ZS: Only that its a modern rendition of the story. Everyones kind of USED to Superman in a way, like I know what Superman is!-and what we were able to do is say What about this way of looking at him?
And kind of make him more modern and relatable-I dont know. Its hard to talk about him in those terms, like, oh did you make him MODERN-what does that mean? We just tried to make him COOL, I dont know if thats modern.
Host (gushing): Loved Amy Adams, Loved Micheal Shannon as the villain, how quickly did this supercast come together?
ZS: It strangely came together pretty easily..and effortlessly. I think theres power in these icons. Asking Amy Adams to be Lois Lane-thats cool.
Host-indistict-
ZS: Even Laurence Fishburn as Perry White-hes like Of course Ill do that! thats cool.
Host: Im superstoked because Ill get to talk to you in LA this weekend about MOS, with you and the whole cast. Have they seen the movie?
ZS: Yes, theyve seen it, and theyve had a good time.
Host: How do feel about the feedback about the trailers, the first which was more stoic, and the second with all cylinders firing?
ZS: We enjoyed giving it out SLOWLY. We hoped that people would understand the tone of the movie, that maybe it wasnt a typical summer blockbuster but theres a lot of heart in the movie, and that Supermans gonna punch some people, but theres a lot of character.
Host: Youve taken this to a whole other level, its a beautiful cinematic experience, you did so much justice to that stuff. Is it true that youre fusing Superman and Batman together in the most epic superfight [wth] Superhero flick?
ZS: (Laughs maniacally out of excitement at the thought.) Ive never heard that, but that sounds awesome!! I did not know that![..right]
Host: Thats what they were saying. MOS arrives in theatres June 14, blahblahblah..

My thoughts. He should absolutely do World's Finest. His look of excitement never faded once that subject was brought up. Also, he said that the trailers were honest. Which is hyping me even more than I already was.
