Spot 11 got me a little choked up, cannot imagine what it will be like watching this movie June13th. The extended flying shot is going to be amazing on the big screen. Everybody who has seen it so far has Loved this movie. Tonight there is a screening in New York, Thursday in LA, and lots over the weekend. Embargo doesn't lift tell June, but based on ************.com and someone else, there will be early reviews, including that site.

I'm gonna cry like a little b**** but I don't give a damn! :waa:

Yup.

If I cry because I see a few seconds of something awesome, what the hell is gonna happen when I see a whole movie full of something awesomes...

:D

Better bring 2 boyfriends along... because you're gonna need more than 1 shoulder to cry on.. :oldrazz:

That piano melody from Zimmer is heavenly evocative and emotionally stirring. Love it so much.

Yeah, and coupled with the way Kevin Costner delivers the line "You are my son!" :waa:

Only 2 superhero movies have come close to making me cry. BB and Iron man. In Begins [when Alfred talks to Bruce about his parents, and when
Tony gets his arc reactor ripped out. That look of sadness, shock, and hopelessness makes me want to scream at the TV.

Looking at these spots I really want ZS to direct a Hulk movie, he really knows how to handle super powered individuals, action wise.

of all the cbm adaptations snyder could have landed on, I thank jeebus it was Superman. I'd be jealous of any other alist character that got him.
Snyder's thor would be pretty jacked, his Captain America, Xmen, Spiderman...etc.

Thank goodness we landed him here.
The funny thing about him landing on a Marvel Studios movie is that they would probably force an aesthetic look to his film as they do all their films so as to make sure they all fit into the same cohesive universe.

How awesome would it be if every few years, goyer has an idea and call's nolan to produce and hand pick a director.

I only hope I don't cry because my wife will probably be looking at me like I'm crazy lol. Don't know if I'll be able to hold it back though.
:funny:
"Geez honey, it's just Superman!"
"Not right now...*continues crying*"

I hate when people call Superman boring or uninteresting.

Yeah, I hate that too. My ex-girlfriend used to say that all the time. Yet she LOVED Superman Returns, a movie that actually DID make him boring and uninteresting. WTF?

Glad I dumped her.

Like all characters Superman only sucks when he's not written well.

Unless she's crying too, then it's ok I guess :woot:
Nothing wrong with a few man tears. We're not robots. Jeez. I almost cried during Star Trek Into Darkness... :hehe:

Just found out my weird shift patterns worked in my favour. Now, not only do I have the entire week before the movie off work, I am also off until the weds after.

That gives me plenty of time to go into hibernation, get all the crazy out of my system where no one can see it and become scared of me, and come back to the world as though I'm just a normal person who enjoyed a movie :p

I rarely cry in films, getting misty eyed is easy though. I'm an emotional person so I really have to keep myself in check.

Lol that's good for you. :woot:

It's amazing how connected, maybe obsessed, or how much we really fall in love with these characters, and these movies. That the people from the outside looking in would look at it as crazy. But it's not.

Exactly. Spider-Man can suck (Spider-Man 3), Batman can suck (Schumacher films), Blade can suck (Blade 3), Captain America can suck (that movie with JD Salinger's son), the Fantastic Four and Dr. Doom can suck (Tim Story films), etc. Yet these are all awesome characters when written well. Superman is no different.

I think it's the fault of a writer or creative team if a character comes across boring or uninteresting.
Exactly. Superman has been around for 75 years for a reason. He's a great inspirational character. Not all heroes have to be endlessly angry, brooding or reluctant to be Superheroes. I like A-hole heroes as much as the next person but not every hero has to be the same.

the trailers already brought me to tears ( of joy! )

I'm sure I'll be a mess by the end of the actual film.......lol.

It's Superman da***t!!!
