people are getting banned left and right now it seems....calm down folks and keep your head about you

The one thing that worries me is that WB and Legendary aren't getting along, and the latter may leave the studio for a new home.

The misconception is that Legendary is just the money guys, but Thomas Tull has proven to be the driving force behind WB with their geek friendly films. In fact, Pacific Rim wouldn't be made if Legendary wasn't involved (they're putting most of the budget alone).

And Legendary have been behind most of the GOOD DC films. Sorry Green Lantern. Well they're not perfect (Hangover 2 and 3, Jonah Hex) but they have a good record overall. Plus they have Godzilla and Warcraft coming up.

So this makes me worry about MoS 2 and the future of DC movies. It seems like Tull and Legendary have the know how to make properties work. It think that's why Justice League has been a sluggish struggle; WB is trying to package it without Legendary.

What's happening, why are so many posters of the MoS boards here getting banned?
and just when MoS is right around the corner

Sally is the codename we use if DiDio is around. :hehe:

Anyone else kind of just waiting for this to come out?
My wife and I don't even really want to go to the movies until MoS releases. I'll probably kill some time on Friday with Fast 6, since I'm off.

Yep. Legendary's a good sign, Syncopy's a good sign, Goyer is mostly a good sign, and I have faith in Snyder to pull it off.

So what happens if Syncopy and Legendary aren't involved in these feature films?

Thanks for worrying me Octoberist. :(

There are plenty of talented people who can take the reigns of the DC Universe besides Nolan and Syncopy.

Maybe, but they need to prove it in live action. Animation wise, DC is awesome, but outside the Nolan films, it's been a rough road for getting tier one comic films off the ground for them.

So of course this is probably what is going to happen. WB will think they "got this", push out Legendary and Syncopy and no one will win. :(

They are not the only ones capable of doing it right, and lets not forget, Legendary's track record is far from perfect: SR, the Titans movies, The Hangover II & III, among other mediocre movies.

As long as WB have Snyder and Goyer involved, they should be fine, although there are no guarantees of course.

Agreed. Not to mention most of their animated features are based on GNs. They need to get a team that can make a mostly original live action film. They can't rush it either. You can't go from MoS to JL. They should do MoS, Flash, WW, and then JL which features the new Batman.

Can't wait to see this next Tuesday in Houston! Thanks again to the poster that posted it earlier.

Sent me passes, print them out, gives me access to get my ass in line to see the movie. First come first serve. I'll be getting there a good few hours early :)

I think a WF film is a far superior idea than a JL film, at the moment. It's also much easier to pull off with less risk. The general audience has been clamoring for a Superman and Batman face-to-face interaction [on the same screen] for decades. Give the world what it wants, and then proceed to a JL film down the road.
