To think the dude playing General Zod played Kim Basinger's white trash boyfriend in 8 Mile.

not sure what this is, might be a screen cap or something

Woah!

Who's Jenn Murphy and why does anyone care if she liked the film or not?

Yeah, I'm not sure why everyone is getting bent out of shape for.

Two factors, I'm guessing.

1- People are very eager for the movie to do well and have been waiting for the positive reviews. I think we've always known that negative reviews would be dismissed until they became a majority.

2-Assuming she did see the film, jealousy. Honestly, I am. Add that to what appears to be a lack of appreciation for that, some spite builds.

I thought she was a top critic and that it was the reason why we were giving her words of "TERRIBLE FILM" a huge impact, but she's just a random person who apparently got to see it.

same thing:o

This Jenn is just trolling for hits and it's a real shame that a lot of pages in various threads have been wasted discussing and dissecting this person's quite frankly irrelevant opinion. There is only one sensible way to respond to such a person....

To Jenn Murphy I say this:

A little more from the conference. Superman's first punch [BLACKOUT]is in defense of his mother.[/BLACKOUT]

OH man...and you know it's going to be a good one [blackout]for his mother[/blackout]

I agree. Plus the lowest rated film Nolan was involved in had 75% fresh rating. Why should this be the movie to go below that?

That film happened to be The Prestige, and MoS would be fortunate to be as good as that, so yeah RT can be a real crock of crap at times.

I was amazed with Begins actally. Granted we were deployed at the time and got the day off to see it playing in our little base theater in Iraq. But for me it has held up to repeat viewings quite well. Its one of those I put on my watch once or twice a year list.

I would hope so. :cmad:
Begins is a much better movie than people give it credit for. I'm probably one of the few that thinks it's better than The Avengers.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people think that actually.

So what film do you think MoS needs to beat to be the best comic book film? :)

Prestige is 76% which I feel is about 5-10% too low. The 75% one is These Amazing Shadows which is a documentary, he's listed as an actor, and has a grand total of 12 reviews.

Indeed. It's kind of the forgotten one of the trilogy. Even though my "least favorite" it still gets an 8.5 for me. (Avengers is about an 8) If MoS is better... I will be more than satisfied.
