Collider: If they did offer you Justice League, and they offered you a Superman sequel, which is the one that gets your attention?

Zack Snyder: Look … completely hypothetically, I feel like you need … to get Superman a little further down the road, I think, before you can do a Justice League movie.

I just want to see a solid Superman film in my lifetime. It's as simply as that. I don't care about it topping this or that. Film is subjective. Hopefully it'll join the ranks of some of my favorite CBM's. That's all I can ask for.

My favorite CBM are in no particular order: TDK, BB, SM2, S:TM, IM, TDKR, Avengers, Watchmen, Batman '89.

If it's amongst those, it'll probably go to #1 or 2 just because Supes is my favorite Superhero.

That's what I am hoping for.

DC's big three has been part of the culture. Marvel had to establish most of these characters. They started from almost nothing. Iron Man had a great first movie and now he's got a billion dollar solo movie. That's crazy to think about. How big could Wonder Woman be if they got her right?

Once Snyder revealed a Wayne logo is in Man of Steel, they asked him if he would like to pair Batman and Superman in Man of Steel 2. He said:

I have got nothing but love for Diana and I would go see a Wonder Woman movie in a heartbeat. I'm just not sure how you would do it. Personally I know nothing about her. I did watch the animated movie a few years ago and maybe I should go back and watch it again or pick up a comic or something. I would think to do a JL film properly you would have to give her a solo movie though. She is part of that big 3 after all.

I think we can now safely assume that ZS wants at least one more Supes movie. I concur with his assessment, and agree with some of you on here. IF, big if btw WB is patient and holds off on JL they could actually make way more money which is what the game is all about.

People might not agree but if you get Superman down and have him as a major draw then the other pieces could fall into place. But he needs MOS and at least 1 more film. Then the groundwork can be laid for JL or even WF if that's what TPTB want.

First and foremost make this movie the SHIZZ! and then build off it. Make the GA ask the question when they leave the theater of what is gonna happen in the next film. Sorry this post might have been overly long but i tend to ramble when I get sleepy.

The dude seems genuinely excited. I think he realizes this is his big break and seems to be embracing it. I mean yeah he's had some success in the past, but this can put him on the legendary level. I think they have some kind of plan. Hopefully WB keeps him around, assuming MOS is everything we hope it is.

I definitely agree. Get the second one in. What I hope they do is concentrate on making great individual movies. Maybe base WW off of the New52 run. It's really good.

WB, if you're reading this. Zack doesn't want to rush the League, the fans don't want you to rush the League, let's get at least two or more solid stand-alone Superman flicks out of the way, followed by at least ONE origin story outside the big 2. Honestly, compare his enthusiasm on JL vs World's Finest. Clearly, he'd rather do the latter. He even added a Wayne reference to the backdrop. Since he's already gonna be involved with Bruce Timm for a one-off animated tribute, how about letting Timm and Zack join alliances for the ultimate superhero buddy movie?
