i'll be happy if it ends up low to middle 80's.

Yeah. Here's the truth, to the general public Superman is like a little brother.
"I'll criticize him openly but I don't anyone else DARE mess with him!"
You know I'm right :)

I'll be happy if the score is... Eh, I don't give a dang about the score.

but maybe he's learning to fly cause previously he didn't know how to do it...

You could be right? Unless someone has some evidence that he already flew? I thought I read somewhere that he might have. Guess we will just have to wait till we see the movie! That would be a good lead up!

A couple super jumps then to that scene in the trailer where everything swirls around him! I'm down for it!

lol , that reminded me when TASM review came in...lol nice gif miss those shows, im REALLY excited for this movie , is my most anticipated CBM of this year

You people are monsters in the Spidey boards.

Heres the culprit

She also tweets profusely how monsters university will be best movie of summer even tho she hasnt seen it and it releases the week after mos!!

She's hot. Your opinion of this "culprit" is invalid.

^ I'm telling you guys. MOS is for the fans. It will take MOS for some critics to adjust to a more serious Superman than Reeve. Once adjusted, they will embrace the sequel, provide it is complex and develops the characters.

agreed!!!

That was a dark time and lets face it, it's going to be dark here as well.

I wouldn't say it'll be THAT bad. We have mods who are going to see it, they're literally our shining beacon of hope.

If idiots still want to troll and cause a hate war, then that's their problem. But they're certainly not going to make this place dark.

I don't take much stock in just one person's review. Different people have different tastes and standards for films, and they have the right to their opinion, even if their opinion is dumb. :woot:

There have been several past films I've loved which other critics (and users on this board) have panned. I do take into account other people's opinions of certain films, and that usually informs whether I should go see a film, and sometimes even my enjoyment of said film. But, at the end of the day, the only opinion that matters to me is my own.

Of course, if the majority were to rate this film a very low score, then I would probably start worrying a bit.

I'm not sure when being excited for a Pixar movie became an indicator of untrustworthy taste...

It doesn't I like almost all of Pixar's films. Except for UP. That movie was ugh:|

Heres the culprit

So, what's the sentence?

All eternity in the Phantom Zone?

:meanie:

You know very well there are going to be some negative reviews, it happens with every movie, just the way it is, chill! :word:

Being hot does not equate intelligence thankfully

But i dont give any reviewer any value who rates After Earth the same score as Star Dark Into Darkness and Gatsby a 90. The woman is living in the twilight zone if she rates after earth which is 10% on rt a 70 and gatsby which is 40 percent on rt a 90

Has there ever been a movie that has gotten 100%? The only 100% movie in my mind is The Godfather, and I will have to go to the mattresses with anyone that disagrees!!

Heak yeah! Random Godfather reference of the day accomplished!

@DrewAtHitFix

About MOS:

It is very, very intense. It deserves the PG-13. I'm still debating whether or not Toshi sees it.

On the one hand, it would be downright cruel not to let him see it, but it really is a next-level brutal compared to Marvel.
