In my mind I think movie WW should be a violent character. She is here as an ambassador but when it comes time to knuckle up she uses extreme force. I think for someone who grew up under the law of the roman/greek gods she will be very quick to dole out punishment.

Yup, this is exactly right. WW can be very reasonable in her role as an abassador, but her nature takes over and once she's upset (which doesn't take much) there's hardly any reasoning with her.

I liked how she was during the DCUO opening cutscene where she is tearing into these robots wiith her sword...I think WW is gonna be the Hulk of the team...the one you restrain until it's time to let her loose

Critics' Choice rating went from 90/100 to 86/100.

Just saw this on the Box Office Forums - the tracking numbers for "Man of Steel" have been revised harshly downward by BTC. The numbers were 125 last week, and this week they are 90 Million opening. If the number holds, that would be disappointing.

I couldn't agree more; WW is a bad-*** and I love her. It's simply not a good idea - with her temperament - to be the sole leader of and prime influence on a group of X amount of super-powered beings.

90mil would be great.

Well not too beat a dead horse, or in this case quote, but: “No Script, No Director, and No Cast”.

Man of Steel is only now coming out after 3 years since Snyder was announced to helm this film. We need time to cast, get the right story in tact and even though Snyder doesn’t have a say in what Warner Bros. ends up doing at the end, I’m pretty confident that when he said that Warner Bros. is nowhere near being ready to make a JLA film, he was telling the truth.

And you do realize on how much time a film of this scale needs in post right? And that's not even including the time that it takes to film the project, the casting process, and the time that they need to get the story done right. I'm curious, and I mean no disrespect from saying this, but why are you in such a rush to see a JLA film that most people here seemingly agree will come out somewhat halfassed if released in 2015?

If JL is announced for release in 2015 at Comic-Con, casting can commence later this year while filming also starts next year. Since Snyder(if he directs) works on the special effects as he goes along, his post production time doesn't take as long. A script could have already been completed behind the scenes, or even still being worked on by someone like Goyer. Maybe wishful thinking on my part, but I'm just going by mere rumors. Then the movie can make winter 2015 (or summer 2015, but I'd rather winter). But I won't discuss that any further, because it's going in circles.

Now for your bolded:

Because I don't care if most people here disagree with me. I have an optimistic perception regarding a JL movie, while most have a pessimistic perception. Just because some here say that it would come out "half-assed", doesn't make it so. No one here has any more validity than the next poster, so I don't lose sleep over it. If JL doesn't come out in 2015, okay. I'll still be looking forward to whatever WB/DC has planned. However, if it does, I get the feeling some posters here would be angered.

No that would be realistic

Guess we will just have to see. Not worried yet.

and thats how you do WW in a movie and make it entertaining...think King Leonidas in short shorts....typical fish out of water movie where she has to attempt to live like we do while learning to suppress her violent nature. Steve Trevor will be her government assigned handler after they tried to keep her locked in a lab for testing...they regiment of soldiers in the hospital taught them the error of thinking that way.....and i haven't even talked about the villain or the big plot

That's reasonable. People shouldn't be expecting Iron Man 3 or TDKR-like numbers at this stage of the game.

They always revise downward when they overpredict a film like they did After Earth. The movie could still open over 100mil but 90mil would be great. I don't know why a lot on here think that it's going to break records?

I expect BB type numbers but something tells me that the BO for this will be hard to predict

I wouldn't be angry at all. But I think JL has the ability to complete smack Avengers in the face and take it's lunch money. But it needs to be spot on to do it. Maybe your right and they are working on everything under lock and key in the batcave or FOS at WB.

I just want to stay realistic. And as you say, opinion is opinion, and imho you can't get the best JL movie out by 2015. But make no mistake, if they do put it out I will be sitting right behind you in the theater throwing popcorn in your hair.:cwink:

Yep ... they over predicted After Earth and ridiculously over predicted Hangover 3 ( I think they had it at 100 5 day) ... so they're likely playing it safe. MTC tracking does that as well.

While I've never felt the ridiculous 150 openings were happening ... I still think it will make 100 million, I currently see closer to 115. :)

Also, again another 70/100 review ... eh, it is what it is. People don't always enjoy the same things. I was told Amazing Spider-Man was terrible ... and I enjoyed it so who cares.

So Martha working at Sears....is she still a farmer in this version I wonder or...?

:funny:

Honestly my expectations for a JL movie in 2015 have been constantly dwindling, so I'm prepared for some slight disappointment.

I said I feel over 100mil can happen now and I'm sticking to it. I thinking 103-105mil right now.
