Sometimes, I think that I am the only one alive who liked SM1.

I loved the first film and will take it any day of the week over every other comicbook origin story.

I thought TASM was a hot mess and I have no faith that I'm going to like the sequel any better.

Cavill artwork looks old and washed out on there, like he needs a good energy drink IMO. Reeve is too round faced and Routh is a bit off too.

^ Cavill auditioned for both Flyby and SR, because I remember reading about Routh being chosen over Cavill. When McG's movie feel through, he auditioned for SR. Routh probably got the role because he looked more like Reeve in the glasses. But Cavill looks more like Superman, AND Reeve in the role at times.

But I have no hard feelings toward Routh. The poor guy gets burdened with the legacy of a film he had no control over.

Reeve's portrait on that looks creepy and Alien-like, Routh's looks to pretty, and Cavill's looks a little too old. Gilbey's a good artist, but he tends to draw everyone with feminine lips.

Yeah. Cavill was the the McG Superman and Bomer was the Ratner Superman. Both lost the roles when those projects fell apart.

From my understand Singer had access to audition tapes for those films and that's how he first saw Routh. Not sure how true that is.
