ThePowerCosmic - one of the most enjoyable things in a Superman movie is watching him use his abilities in everyday life. How much do we see that here? Or does he use them only when he really needs to?

No nanotech? How the hell does the suit grow on him then?

So what is the purpose of the suit? They've said several times it has a purpose.

The purpose is if he gets hit by a missle, or runs into a burning building, or gets pounded by a mini gun he is not suddenly naked

that's ok, Power!!

was there a post credit scene?

and does Zimmer give Superman a "definable" theme? is it pretty much the same as the trailer 3 music?

What powers do little Clark demonstrate?

Is there Ice Breath?

What are the new powers that are displayed? Zack mentioned there are never before seen powers.

Happy you liked the movie, ThePowerCosmic... I have a question:

How violent is Superman killing Zod? Can you describe it at all? Does the scene work in your honest opinion?

Zod is about to fry some civilians cowering in a corner, while Superman holds him from behind telling him to "STOP!". Zod says "Never...", and his heat vision slowly goes across the wall towards the civilians as Superman tries to keep Zod's head from moving so his eyes don't go any further. Finally, Supes has enough and snaps his neck out of obligation. The scene works for me. It tore Supes up that he had to do it. Know the clip in the trailers that has Superman crying in the train station? That's because of what he did to Zod.

Not enough screen time to really get a feel for me... but, he's definitely not the nerdy/bumbling Clark from what I saw.

Cosmic, I'm sorry to bump this again, but I really would like your opinion:

1. Where do you rank it among other superhero movies?

2. Where do you think the general audience will rank it among other superhero movies?

3. What do you think it will get on Rotten Tomatoes?

pretty please?

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and answering our questions!

To me, that's just beautifully done writing. The "one rule" doesn't mean a thing if you can't see what it does to a person if they're forced to break it.

No ice breath. Little Clark demonstrates super hearing, heat vision and x-ray vision. When Clark gets a little older(middle school, I think?) he shows strength.

If anybody wants to answer, not a biggie... but how much screen time is Jenny Olsen afforded?

ThePowerCosmic

Is there any postcredits scene?

Any nods to JL members? Or nods to villains like Lex or Brainiac?

That is a good question Power. Where does it rank for you with other CBM's or even other movies in general if you felt it was that good. Also its my 1000th post. Where's my cookie!!!!

:wow:

does it ever show/say what happens to Zod's body after that? Does Superman claim it? the government/military?

Love this.

Man. This movie is going to be HUGE.
