That interviewer from Good Morning America knows his stuff. That's refreshing.

[BLACKOUT]Another weird choice that seems confirmed by those posting in the review thread is Kal-Els rocket will be sent days before Krypton's destruction. So we won't get the iconic visual of the rocket speeding away from the exploding planet (at least one would presume).[/BLACKOUT]

Even though I'm half way across the world as well I will still be up. Advantage of night crew!

Who is terrence Mann? Lol how dothese guys get to review movies? Is that really legit?

He gave MU 100/100 though... so, if MU turns out that good, it'll surely dig deep into MOS's box office...

Basing this on....what exactly? (Not saying it won't be good. No one bets against Pixar.)

Sounds like character development is a consistent flaw touched upon in a lot of reviews.

I'm unsure why it's a flaw really. You can't flesh out every character, it's impossible. Ma Kent not being given a lot of development seems normal to me. I can understand the complaint with Lois Lane perhaps, but not his mom.

Since MOS has a 90/100 average (it started with 100) on CC and we only know of 4 scores (70,70,80,90) so far, I did the math and there are actually 5 critics who gave it 100, based on the 90/100 average score and the other 4.

The somewhat 'tame' reviews has kinda shifted my ridiculous hype for this film in my head as 'the movie the world needs right now', to just a really good film.

The only character who TRULY matters in this film from a development standpoint is Clark ... just as was the case in Batman Begins. People like Lois & Perry will likely get more fleshing out in a sequel.

Sounds like Amy Adams' Lois is the weak link in the cast. Goyer can never get those love interests right.

Oh boy, the No-kill rule has always been a subject of great debate. If it bothers some, I can respect that, but personally, I couldn't give a less ****. It's a matter of perspective.
These people can destroy/take over earth in no time, and seem to be unrepentant about it. They are biologically engineered to be a certain way, and if there is no other way around it than to kill them, then I say they brought in upon themselves, or else Earth pays the price. He literally has no choice.
Since this is the beginning I think this is the incident that causes him to adopt the no killing rule.

As it should have always been really.

She can't be any worse than Rachel Dawes ... so that's likely a good thing.

Yeah it's kinda ridiculous, I don't remember backslash in 2005 for Alfred and Gordon not getting 'developed enough'.

Yeah. Though what concerns me is that Workman liked STID more.

I honestly feel most of us are going to LOVE this movie and the critics that are giving it an average score are being stupid, especially since many critics are gushing over it. Lol I'm so pumped for this though!

Yeah, I guess. It's just 3 years of hype can do that to ya. I'm settling into more level-headed expectations now. I hope it's still an 'event' film.
