She can't be any worse than Rachel Dawes ... so that's likely a good thing.

Then again...Katie Holmes was playing a simple love interest crafted specifically for that very reason. Lois Lane is an iconic character that deserves far more than what Rachel got.

Adams makes a fine Lane, even though she puts herself in peril way too often

Heh.

and her "chance" meeting with Supes is just a wee bit coincidental.

With Clark I presume. It's one of my most anticipated moments given the status quo changes. Will not ask for spoilers there.

Well in truth I'm pretty sure most of what we have read today is true. And I stayed away from most of it but I couldn't help but read a couple things. I hope Power and Janksta like it.

Since MOS has a 90/100 average (it started with 100) on CC and we only know of 4 scores (70,70,80,90) so far, I did the math and there are actually 5 critics who gave it 100, based on the 90/100 average score and the other 4.

Edward Symkus was the first critic to rate MOS (90/100), but the CC score was 100/100 back then. Pretty weird.

Watching people tread around the spoiler is pretty funny. blacking out one word then going on to form the rest of the sentence doesn't really help matters. Meh, time to bounce.

True ... and I'd agree with you, unless that development would have somehow come at the expense of Clark. If we were given an extra 10-15 minutes of Lois development, and that time was taken from Clark, it's not worth it.

No it doesn't help matters ... people's reaction comments to the spoilers, are bigger spoilers than the blacked out comments.

I'm still predicting an RT score in the high end of the 80's, which is wishful thinking for such an untested property but I have hopes this will be THE movie of the summer.

Yeah. I don't know how their system works though. Maybe some critics can vote anonymously or don't have a profile? Because it's weird, I checked a few profiles out and there's zero votes registered or anything, so who knows. But with the votes so far a 90 average rating definitely suggest either 5 100 votes or a whole lot of votes of 90 and 100.

Awesome clip, I'm loving Perry White.

he dies in the tornado no? Is there a more detailed description?

Well yes in the 'TMOS Review Speculation Thread' someone who has seen it described the scene. I'm guessing you didn't want to look through that so I could describe it if you like.

Sure if you could please, or just pm me even

Doubled spoilering tag this just in case you don't want to know what happens to Pa Kent
Basically during the tornado scene Pa Kent refuses to let Clark help him for fear of exposing himself. So he gets killed. That's the basics of it, the events leading up to the scene could put it in different context. But it seems to imply he was willing to take the risk instead of getting help.

This saddens me alot. I love Amy, and was very excited when she was cast.

Why does this sadden you? His opinion doesn't mean when you see the film you won't love her performance. I never understood why people always get hung up on reviews. In the end what matters is what you personally think of the film.

Wait , you say you are sad because of this review but when you see the other legit review which says she is excellent you conveniently ignore it ?

It's not that my opinion isn't the most important to me. It's that it could very well become a popular opinion amongst a majority. I'm sure there's fans of the character of Rachael in the Dark Knight films, but they still have to put up with the overwhelming opinion that she was horrible.

Though Cavill can't quite top what Christopher Reeve did for the role of Superman nearly 30 years ago, he's certainly more fitting than Brandon Routh was, delivering just the right amount of gusto and wonder as the flying hero.
Okay, but I'm waiting for a review which acknowledges they are playing very different Clarks/Supermen. (though I understand writers need brevity and not to spoil too much)

Cavill's playing a rookie hero who felt isolated growing up and spent time as a drifter before suiting up.

Reeve played an almost fully formed instant master hero who blended into society perfectly and spent 12 years being educated by his dad's A.I. (though that was another actor).
