And what is the significance of the Critics Choice rating?

Do female reviewers tend to rate superhero films lower?

Partly, yes.

are those bad writters? just be honest i only know them for Star Trek, just not to get away from MoS , have we seen or known if Clark wears glasses in this?

Every female in my family loves action films more than any other type of film.

I'm probably too nice to action films rating wise.

Well, I notice in every day life from personal experiences only, that female general movie fans/non comic book fans, tend to be more dismissive of superhero films than male general movie fans.

Validation or rejection, depending on how close they are to giving MOS a perfect score.
It's funny because I didn't need the critics validation to deem Pain and Gain a good movie in my estimation and I didn't need their validation to enjoy Furious 6 more than Into Darkness and Iron Man 3. I like reading reviews and have no problems with critics. Sometimes I agree with em and sometimes I don't, it's not a big deal. I wish everyone thought that way.

Why wouldn't they? Superheroes mostly deal with masculine themes and love interests that are less character more motivation. Rarely do Superhero movies contain anything that would interest them unless they had a preliminary interest in the material from the start (a geek). Even action junkie females might not care for Superhero films because most of them have bad action.

I will go against the grain for a moment. There needs to be somewhat of a collective validation. By that I mean, you want to see totals over 75% to know that generally people found it to be a good film. If you are seeing 40% or lower for example, there is a good chance you will agree that the film is lacking.

You are not the one that feels the need to update us every time a new person posts their review. I wasn't referring to you. :cwink:

It's weird because I know so many girls who love superhero movies, yet some people find it shocking that I like them since I'm a girl :whatever::oldrazz:
