Ex, it seems like more boys/men who are not "superhero geeks" tend to enjoy superhero films compared to everyday girls/women that are not "superhero geeks"

It's weird because I know so many girls who love superhero movies, yet some people find it shocking that I like them since I'm a girl :whatever::oldrazz:
Good for you? I was making a generalization. There are always exceptions.

I should say just from personal experience of females I come across. Many of them that are movie fans are not into superhero, star trek, or star wars movies. Not claiming it represents all women, but it is just what I have seen.

Obviously it appeals to men more but so what? I'm one of the chicks who like's this junk so why should that matter to me?

I don't think any of it is directed towards you at all. We know you are a superhero fan. I think it is based off of some people noticing that women reviewers seem to rate superhero films lower (on average) than male reviewers. It also correlates to personal experience with everyday general female movie goers.

Actually compared to most chats people get into in this thread, we are fairly on topic ;)

Wait...have PC and DaJanksta started the movie?

Will Clark use glasses in this movie? and/or work at the Daily Planet?

I'm sure that male critics rate movies mostly directed towards women lower. Bias is a thing obviously.
Well, now we know Spidey is going to die and come back to life.
I blame the magic blood on Lindy.

Exactly LOL!! :woot:

Though my wife would fall in the class of females who usually prefer comic flicks. Though her favorites tend to be of the classic variety and usualy British. Pride and Prejudice, etc, etc, etc...

Not a critic, but I just love me a good movie. Heck, Joe Wright's P&P might be my favorite film.

I was excited to see these. I stopped right next to bus, then saw the billboard right after! Haha. At Venice Blvd near Culver. Los Angeles.

Can't be scared to discuss differences, if done respectfully :o There is certainly a difference in taste for movies between everyday men and women. Even a guy who hasn't picked up a comic, or in terms of sci fi - seen old star trek films, seems to have more interest in seeing superhero/sci fi action films out. Glad there are some female fans that are breaking the mold though
