I personally loved that movie and didnt mind the blood thing.
Why did they need Khan's magic blood when they had other dudes with magic blood right at their disposal?

Darth, Joe Wright's Pride and Prejudice was great and so was Hanna. Can he please do a Wonder Woman movie?

and then they will compare the movie to Green Lantern and everyone will loose their minds , lol good times.....:(

WHich is funny, because I just saw The Amazing Spider-Man and it isn't even THAT bad...? (I like it a lot better than Raimi's first Spider-Man that's for sure). Maybe someone can show me why it's getting negative reception? *shrug*

Mccoy states in the novel “I can’t be sure the others physiology works the same and there’s no time to find out – Its Khan or nothing.”

My wife's and my movie tastes tend to kinda flow together.

First, they weren't sure how to revive the cryogenically frozen crew (this was stated, even though they were sure on how to yank one out, as well as freeze and later de-freeze Kirk)

Second, there was no proof that the regeneration trait was shared by all the rest of the crew.

Who were the stars in Joe Wright's P&P. My wifes favorite version, and honestly mine too is the one that stars Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.

I wasn't sure if it had something to do with the blood being from an already revived being.

I haven't seen that one. Wright's starred Kiera Knightley and Matthew McFadyen.

I can't believe hypesters are watching man of steel right now...so jealous I have to wait til next Tuesday!!

Have any Hypesters that were seeing the movie today reported back?

I thought it was because they were frozen, plus their blood was untested while khan's for sure worked. Less risky. Plus they needed to stop Khan anyways.

I wouldn't say no. I think he could pull it off. We would at least get some gorgeous shots of Themyscira.

I am a big Joe Wright fan. Really like all his films other then The Soloist. Even his Anna Karenina, though a bit too artsy at times, works well for me.

That is the made for tv version. I know it has its fans, in fact most probably prefer it, but I think it misses the energy and cinematic qualities of Wright's version. Making Lizzie a bit of a tomboy and making the whole thing more youthful really did wonders for me. Also the cast is perfect imo and the score is incredible.

The one Power and Janksta are watching only started 30 minutes ago. Give it another 2 to 3 hours and we will know something.

When it comes to the actual novel I think the series nails it better than the movie. Plus Firth is an excellent Mr. Darcy. He makes it. I did enjoy the movie. I just happened to like that series better.

The meltdown this place is going to have if one or even two of them doesn't like it. lol.
