So I kind of spent my whole Saturday watching Batman, Batman Returns and Batman Forever with these Kevin Smith and Marc Bernardin commentary tracks synced.

Absolutely hilarious and their criticisms and musings on the films are brilliant.

If you have some spare time I definitely recommend watching.

Sounds interesting so I'll add that to my must-watch list, which also includes the three-part 'Superheroes' PBS series.

3 Images of the star of the movie is all of a sudden a bad thing?

But Batman isn't the sole protagonist of the film. He's a co-star alongside Superman.

Post credit scenes are played out...start the movie that way!! Let the whole film be them drinking coffee reminiscing but when they first met

I'm still hoping the rumor is true where instead of a post credit scene they have a 5 or 6 minute animated short movie that does take place in the DCU. I see a lot of potential there. And everytime they could have different artists do the art.

But surely people will ***** and moan that it's animated so it's for kids again. Or feel disconnected with the live action movie they just saw because it's animated.

Easy fix though. Instead of a post credit short make it a pre movie short, basically forcing the audience to watch it. Kinda like what Pixar does. Though I'd still prefer it after the credits, for the true believers.

We have had quite a few clear shots of Cav-el in costume. I for one really want a clear color shot of Batman. I liked what I saw in the Sad Bat pic, but I would like to see a more detailed view with color.

The latest issue of SFX Magazine is out. The magazine contains a four page article about Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice which looks at the history of the production through to the latest reports about the movie (there is a full page color pic of Henry Cavill in costume as Superman, as well as set pics of Cavill and Affleck in Detroit). There is also a one page article spotlight about Henry Cavill in The Man From Uncle reboot.

Well lee, I think they know that we have seen a lot of him in costume, granted, many are spy pics, true. But we did see him quite a bit, got the Ice Bucket video too... They probably think that most of us are sated on that end. I would like a picture of Gal, Henry and Ben in costume together, but I think that's less and less likely as time goes on.

I think its likely we will get a color pic of Affleck in costume in the not so distant future. Maybe before end of year? But next year is when the publicity machine will go into overdrive. Its going to be quite the experience!

Smith likes MoS, but at the same time he's not adverse to talk about that movie's gaping flaws.

Smith usually isn't the one to bring them up or harp on any of the supposed flaws though when he does these sort of things or when it comes up in convos on podcasts or the like. It's often the person doing them alongside him. Not to mention, one of the film's biggest "gaping" flaws as many see it, the pacing, is one of the things that Smith likes about it the most. As he said, if MOS is a style of music, it would be Thrash Metal or a kickass Metallica song. And there's nothing wrong with that. TDKT can be a symphony, the original Superman film is like an uplifting March... I'm happy for diversity in these things myself.

Me too, but every time I start to think that, I just remember that we have two official photo's of the Batfleck two years away from the films release. I think we're very luck that we have Snyder because I really don't think they would have been released if it weren't for him...maybe..?

Its Warner Bros who are calling the shots. Snyder can only release information/official pictures with their consent.

I have to say they've done a great job of keeping the spycams out of viewing range for the most part. except for the car and a couple of shots of Cavill in costume we haven't gotten very much.

Somewhat curious to know the opinions of others on this, especially from our female users here, but where would you guys say Henry Cavil's popularity ranks among the fans and general audience?

I mean I know that if we talk about actors who are currently playing comic book characters (of any sort) that guys like Tom Hiddleston and RDJ are probably ranked high on that list, so I was just curious on where Henry might rank at.

To be honest, I have no clue how he ranks, but he's number one with me.

I do hope he doesn't just play superman for the rest of his career though, despite my love for the character and Cavill's portrayal of him.
