When it comes to Superman (1978) my favorite version is the International Cut which clocks in at 188 minutes. It screened many years ago, and has tons of extra footage.

Judge Dredd is a good example. He has aged since the first comic (in real time sort of). Even living with cancer.
I still need to find this character's comics.

Yes. The extended addition from 2000 I think. The four biggest differences are an expansion on some of the scenes on Krypton, with more of Jor-el interacting with the council, the council deciding to investigate what Jor-el is doing in his lab and sending a sentry, and some more of the Kryptonians dying during the early phase of Krypton's destruction. Then there is the inclusion of Lois as a little girl seeing young Clark race the train in Smallville while traveling with her parents. The Lanes are played by Kirk Alyn the original Superman from the first live action serial and Noel Neil the Lois from both the serial and most of the run of THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN. Then there is a short sequence after Superman has his big night on the town after saving Lois and you see him back at the Fortress talking with Jor-el, then it cuts back to people crowded around the outside of an electronic store and Clark is there looking at the news reports of Superman saving Lois. A guy turns to Clark and says unbelieving "That'll be the day... When a guy can fly, huh?" and Clark replies "Oh, you never know..." That actor that does that line? That's SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE director Richard Donner. Finally there is the gauntlet of death traps Luthor puts Superman through before he reaches Lex's lair, which includes machine guns, flame throwers and some kind of instant freeze chamber. In the commentary Donner and the film's "creative consultant" talk about why the lair stuff was cut for both time and because they felt that the audience had already seen Superman's powers established. Those scenes and a couple of others that were cut(like Superman rescuing Miss Tessmacher from Lex throwing her to hungry Lions/tigers before bringing Otis and Lex to prison) were added into old network TV broadcasts back in the pre cable days to expand the run times as was done for some films back then.
I saw that version, man, it's beautiful.

Welp, I just saw the dumbest comment ever about Batman V Superman.

"This has to be the most rumored/talked about movie in a cinema history"

Most talked about film in movie history.

Lol at Lebron puppet. Maybe there's exaggeration there. But there sure is a lot of talk for this film that isn't do for another year. Rumors after rumors, unpopular casts, popular casts, awesome costumes, unpopular costumes etc.

No this guy is serious. Here's on IGN and he's the biggest Man of Steel/DC dick rider ever. He bashes Marvel every time he can, he thinks MOS is better then any film in the MCU. He is the dumbest guy I've ever seen on IGN.

What would you say has been the most talked about? Star Wars Phantom Menace comes to mind. Maybe Terminator 2? Titanic?

You're referring to the Salkind International Cut which was broadcasted first on ABC in 1982. What exactly make it your favourite version of Superman compared with the theatrical version? Can you tell the difference between the original theatrical version and the various DVDs released before 2006? :\
I still havea near photo realistic memory of the time when I first set my eyes on Superman in '78 and it was not to be matched until the blu-ray release with all the original sound mix and vivid colours, of course not being in a theater setting limited it somewhat.

Come 2016, you'll practically be the first one in the queue to see BvS.:woot:

So apparently, Lennix has said in a recent interview that fans of tdkr comic book arc will be happy with this film.

Reports from Israel are saying that Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer who played Superman's mother in Man of Steel will be back for Batman V Superman in a cameo and that she will also have a much bigger role to play in Justice League as a villain! (Or maybe as THE villain?).

cue panic in 3...2...1...

:funny:

I'm sure the battle will pull elements from the story, and even maybe some others with Bruce's portrayal. Though that was pretty obvious. At least I thought it was.

It's going to be SO funny when It'll turn out I'm right and then I'll be all like :pal:

TOLD YOU SO!

You just wait and you'll see.
