The words "a Wonder Woman movie filming in Italy" sound soooo right. Make it classy and sunny and pretty.

And if they get locals as extras, especially people from Sicily, it would be in line with Gadot's look, as they typically have darker features too.

The Basilicata is a famous region and featured a lot in Italian films.

IIRC, Ben-Hur will be filming there - the film that Gadot dropped out.

Note that the photo of Doric columns posted above is a 6th century temple where the Greeks worshiped Hera. The Greek settled in the Basilicata region before the Roman take over.

"Rory’s First Kiss" was the production title of The Dark Knight for example. What the heck did that mean for TDK?

I'm kind of annoyed they're not filming it in Greece. The influx of Syrian refugees and the Euro-zone crisis has left the country in a pretty ****** way. Not saying one film will solve all of a country's problems, but it would've created a lot of jobs and made things smoother for a lot of people for about three months. Greece needs it more than Italy.

Yeah, it most probably doesn't mean anything. I still find the Crimean War connection (whether it's really intended to be there or not) to be interesting though.

I'm so glad we officially have our paradise island. And that means that the New Mexico set in BvS is not it.

Remember NM set worked for 2 different things. Paradise Island is a big place and they could have filmed something there for that purpose.

Yep they could film stuff there for Olympus or whatever they want it for the Greek gods or greek mythology. It can be possible

Basilicata make sense for filming in known location with rich filming history and production infrastructure --fewer problems.

Since some people here are very against the idea of Lynda Carter appearing on the movie in any role, I think they could do a collaborated song for the movie (if it fits). I have been thinking about that for some time, actually. Just a thought. It doesn't distract from the movie and the general audience wouldn't probably know about it, but the fans would.

But to be honest I prefer the other song she did, even if I don't understand a bit.
