But Themyscira is not desert. It would need tropical locations. But, as said, it also has the ancient architecture style the Amazons brought with them so Morocco (and the area around) would be needed.

I just don't want them to CGI 90% of the architecture and I feel that's what they might do if they choose location that lacks needed architectures and opt for one that is more suitable when it comes to natural environment. But, as I said, if they can do both then great.

Don't we already know what Themyscira is likely to look like thanks to the photos of the New Mexico set for Dawn of Justice? Or was the New Mexico set debunked as being Themyscira?

If it was Themyscira, then Morocco seems like a good stand-in for that set. Although I would like the non-civilised areas of Themyscira to be a lush, tropical rainforest, it's possible that Themyscira will be depicted as more of a harsh, barren landscape.

If memory serves, BvS was gonna shoot in Morocco but due to the African Ebola crisis, they ditched Morocco for New Mexico. Now that Ebola is under control, they're back to Morocco. So it seems that New Mexico BvS locale was indeed WW related, probably Themyscira. I'm betting they'll build identical structures for WW in Morocco that we saw in New Mexico.

YOU NEED TO READ THIS!!! Possible casting call for Wonder Woman that can give us details on the plot.

Well, technically, it was never confirmed that the New Mexico set was Themyscira. Though it could possibly be. And since the BvS trailer was released we see that there are desert scenes in the movie that involve Batman (and I think Superman, in a bunker.)

All we have now is that production description, which says both Morocco and the Far East (and UK.) So if true I don't see why they wouldn't use a combination if needed.

Anyone know how long the filming's supposed to be last? Justice League pre-production starts in January. I wonder if there will be some overlap or if all of WW will happen from the fall to at least the end of December.

Sage, I've been trying to figure out how things are going to work out for the longest. One thing is forsure, Gadot is going to be super busy.

If it is January the only people it affects at all are the snyders and Roven. Justice league can be in pre production while WW is filming without any problems

Yeah... But you'd punch Sawyer on the GP anyway so...

Well, every day we don't get any casting I punch Sawyer and also panic.

I have a question... What are the attributes you want or hope to see in Wonder Woman/Diana's Character?

Interview from Michael Wilkinson, posted on costume thread but had some stuff about character that seems to confirm that Wonder Woman is indeed immortal

As for the Wonder Woman suit, well she has never been seen in a film before, so there was nothing to compare it to! There is of course the costume from the TV show. Zack wanted our character to be a fierce and intimidating warrior — gritty, battle-scarred and immortal…. Zack had a great idea to have some kryptonian script subliminally included in the details of the suit, so we made that happen. There is ancient Greek script on Wonder Woman’s weapons too

The Kryptonian text on her costume has me concerned and would seem to confirm previous theories.

There is no Kryptonian script on her costume. Only Greek on her shield and weapons. Superman's costume has Kryptonian writing. ManWithNoName18 Merged two quotes for some reason:

Should fans look out for anything in particular when it comes to the costumes?

What sort of research went into creating Batman and Wonder Woman’s looks?

Wilkinson: To get ready to design the costumes for Batman v Superman, I really did my homework. I immersed myself in the long histories of these iconic characters — Superman [Henry Cavill], Batman [Ben Affleck], and Wonder Woman [Gal Gadot]— I studied how they have been portrayed over the last 75 years on film, on TV, in comic books, graphic novels and video games. I studied what they mean to people, what they stand for, why they are important. I started an exhaustive search for new materials and technologies — original ways of portraying these characters that would be unlike anything audiences have seen before. I wanted the costumes to help make the characters inspirational and relevant to modern audiences.

How are this film’s costumes different than what we’ve seen in previous films?

We tweaked the Superman suit only slightly from our suit from Man of Steel. We streamlined plus sharpened the details of the costume a little to suit the more earthly (less alien) context of this film. The batsuit is a complete 180 degree turn from the previous film incarnations — our Batman’s power comes from his incredible physical strength and fighting skills, not from armor. The director Zack Snyder wanted him to look as much like the comic book version as possible — to be respectful to the original source. Nah. That New Mexico set probably has something to do those Superman soldiers we saw in the trailer

Right. Michael Wilkinson was referring to the Superman suit and these articles have just confused what he was referring to:

Yeah, it looks more like a fortress/bunker.

I don't believe it, there's Geek lettering on the WW's sheild and sword, that's all.

Show me the proof that there is Kryptonian text on WW's costume, I bet no one can. :oldrazz:

Compassion.

And many others. Kindness. Generosity. Accepting. Tolerant. Open-minded. Level-headed. Slow-to-anger. Even-tempered. Considerate. Wise. Humane/Humanitarian. Merciful. Intelligent. Warm. Selfless. Sincere. Giving. Charitable. Pro-active. Strong. Independent. Honest. Confident. Inspirational. Democratic. Philanthropic. Playful. Friendly. Peaceful. Protective.

And all of those other impossible ideals!

If that production thing 'Fallen Angel' posted is legit, shooting won't start till December. I'd guess she would shoot that till March/April then jump straight into Justice League which I assume will shoot around the same time BvS did.

I think Deadline mentioned something like that in one of their reports

That's a hell of a list. But, as it happens I pretty much agree. Compassion, honesty and altruism are core parts of the character. And I like what Gadot said on SDCC about Wonder Woman having a lot of emotional intelligence.

There's a big problem here: no flaws.

IMO, her flaws should be some kind of naivety and "too much" selflessness. Azzarello's run really established that as her "flaw". She trusts too much. Of course that means the world around her is what is actually flawed...

Plus, she should lose her mind sometimes.

We don't want a flawless Diana as much as we don't want a generic action girl Diana.

Gawd, I love Azzarello's run.

If Sups is flawd in this universe, she will be as well.
