I just want to say, watching that No Man's Land scene I lived, I died, and I lived again.

I agree with you there. There are a ton of possibilities, really.

I'm very intrigued about what Jenkins and Johns might come up with for the sequel, just hoping they get everything squared away. But it sounds like Jenkins is excited about the project.

Since the success of WW, we've heard conflicting reports that is is set in the past, in America, in modern day etc. I am sure it is still in flux and Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns are still thinking of all the possibilities it could go. Esp. since it has such a high expectation, reputation, and a huge following now.

"Me too!"

Does anyone have a good shot of the WW1 photograph from the film?

You know one thing did occur to me:
When she types "thank you for giving him back to me" to Bruce at the end, he's probably not going to know who she's talking about. Because the film makes it seem like she's simply thinking back on the events to herself, as opposed to telling them to Bruce. And their are three other guys in that picture with her and Steve.

Not a big deal mind you, but amusing to note nonetheless.

Well clearly Chris Pine was the only guy in her league in that pic :oldrazz:

He does know. How?

Because he's...

So much wonderful detail in that picture. It looks like something that was from a world where Diana and all the other heroes are real.

Maybe Bruce will think that she refers to the actual photo as a he.

That Wonder Wetsuit gets me every time. Wait, does it have heals? :funny:

With the film being such a success all around maybe now a fire will be lit under WB's ass and they will give us a proper WW solo cartoon. I would even get Jenkins to consult on it.

Cute.

It does show what a world of difference production values can make. Not saying anyone should have expected modern production in the late 70's on a TV budget but the differences are pretty stark.

Pocahontas (1995) came later than Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman (1975 - 1979).

True, but they had a whole Disney thing going on in WW. So it went from a Pocahontas dive to a Little Mermaid rescue and wake up on the beach.

Lynda Carter really should make an appearance in the sequel. It doesn't have to be big role, but some kind of appearance.

Patty Jenkins wanted her in the first one but Lynda couldn't work it out with her schedule. She said that if Patty writes her a decent role in the sequel she'll consider it. She's not likely to get anything like the POTUS in Supergirl. Don't know if she'd be an Amazon (which would be most fitting) unless Diana goes back to Themyscira.

Oscars woke up to 'negligence': 9 new Academy members praise diversity push --Priyanka Chopra, Sanaa Lathan, Phylicia Rashad, Rinko Kikuchi, more reflect on Oscar’s 2017 class

CREWS: Gal Gadot gives one of the best performances I’ve seen this year in Wonder Woman. She blew it up. A lot of people are complaining about it being her first big thing, but they don’t complain when a white guy does the same thing. It’s never an issue if a white man does one great job and now he’s a star for the rest of his life. Why can’t the same thing happen for Gal? When I look at Wonder Woman, I’ve never seen anything like it. It sent goose bumps down my spine. I got choked up in the theater because I felt like, This is possible now, whereas before it actually was not possible; Wonder Woman broke a paradigm. When you actually see it break, it’s like, Oh sh–!

What movies could receive their Oscar votes next year

These are all new academy voters too. I'm kinda starting to believe that Jenkins could sneak into a nom, just a feeling. I also feel like the film in general will get lots of love from the academy.

LATHAN: I really loved Wonder Woman. Patty Jenkins did an amazing job on that. It’s so empowering. I went with my mother and cousins, and the whole evening we were doing our Wonder Woman poses! It was so inspiring! It hit me on more than an entertainment level. It hit me on a deeply empowering and uplifting level. That’s exciting for me to know that little boys and little girls are going to see that in their consciousness as they grow up.

CHOPRA: I think it’s going to be a great year for women. [I support] Sofia Coppola’s The Beguiled and of course Wonder Woman. Also Get Out! I’m also really looking forward to Blade Runner 2049.
